On Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 5:55 pm, the victim, a 25 year-old male, was riding his bicycle in the 1800 block of north Broad Street when four (4) unknown juvenile black males knocked him off his bike demanding money. After defending himself, the suspects fled and were last seen south on Broad Street. Nothing was taken and the suspect suffered minor injuries during this incident.

On June 24, 2021 at approximately 10:00 pm, the victims, a 15 & 12 year-old males, were playing basketball at Cione Recreation Center located at 2600 Aramingo Avenue when an unknown male started arguing with the victim's. Suspect #1 then called Suspect #2 over to them along with 3-5 additional males when victim #2 was assaulted. Taken from victim #1's book bag was his iPhone 11, black in color and taken was victim's #2's wallet containing $100. The suspects then fled and were last seen North on Aramingo Avenue. Victim #1 reported no injuries. Victim #2 sustained minor bruising to his back and side from being kicked and punched.

Both suspects then fled and were last seen north on 21st Street.

On Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 7:12 PM, the victim, a 17 year-old male, was on 1 North 3rd Street when he was approached by two black males, one who was armed with a handgun. During the robbery the suspects took the victim's iPhone the left the area walking South on 3rd Street. The victim followed the suspects attempting to get his phone back when suspect #2 punched the victim in the nose causing the him to bleed. Both suspects then fled and were last seen south on 3rd Street from Market Street. The victim was taken to Jefferson Hospital for medical treatment.

It was on Friday when two 13-year-old boys running a lemonade stand were robbed, apparently at gunpoint, in Peoria's East Bluff.
Just before 5pm on August 7, two males approached Jude Peterson and his friends as they sold lemonade on the corner of California and Forest Hill in Peoria. In video provided by a neighbor, a male in a dark hoodie, who was described as a teenager, moves fast, displaying what looks to be a firearm. The male then quickly snatches the boys' cash box, running off with $30.
Nathan, Jude's father, said at first, he was horrified. Nathan was in his basement when his wife called down to him, saying she had been told the boys were jumped.
"I just almost blacked out a little bit, like I felt my body running up the stairs, but for just a moment, it was pretty intense," said Peterson.
Luckily, everybody was okay, just a bit shaken up. What really moved Nathan is how his neighbors responded. People wanted to help in any way they could. Some folks even bought a glass of lemonade for $20, after they heard what happened.
"One guy in particular, he came back like a half hour later and he had all these bags of chips and candy and everything...he's like hey you can sell this at your stand, and helped set it up," said Peterson.
The community also offered emotional support for the boys.

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department is asking for help finding a man who was caught on camera stealing an elderly man’s car then running him over.
According to HPD, the incident happened around 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 at the Valero gas station on Beechnut Street and Cook Road in southwest Houston.
Police said the 83-year-old driver went into the convenience store to make some purchases. He came back out, started the vehicle and was standing nearby smoking a cigarette when a man, unprovoked, “punched him in the face (out of camera view), causing him to fall to the ground,” according to HPD.
In the video, the man is seen calmly walking to the vehicle with what appeared to be a drink and other food items and getting into the driver’s side.
At that point, the 83-year-old man is seen walking in front of the vehicle and attempts to get the car thief to stop, but instead, the thief drives over the man before backing up and driving off.
The thief returned to the store later that day and was captured on surveillance video wearing a black shirt, black pants and red bandana over his head, police said.
The Los Angeles Police Department Thursday released video footage of a man and woman who assaulted and robbed an ice cream vendor in the Fashion District of downtown L.A. in hopes that someone will be able to identify the suspects
According to police, the robbery happened at about noon on Tuesday near 12th and Birch streets.
Surveillance video shows the two suspects approach the vendor on the side walk and punch him, knocking him to the ground. The suspects then fled from the scene in a dark Toyota Avalon.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but an update on his condition was not immediately available.
