Public Education Taught You What To Think Not How To Think?
Critical Thinking Skill:
Two Doors Side by Side are able to speak and say only Yes or No to any question asked them ! A Binary Test!
One door Leads to God and the Divine the Other door Leads to Satan and the Damnation.
You can only ask one question to one of the doors. One door will always tell the truth. One door will always tell the lie. You choose which door to ask and you choose the question to ask and then you must proceed to choose a door and pass through.

Choose Wisely! This enigma is an old one but a good one. It can be solved with CRITICAL THINKING !!!

Well the first episode did pretty good and you guys seem to like it, so I guess I will be uploading the entire season on this channel.
(24 episodes)

This episode's plot-
Manji and Rin visit the famous swordsman and artist Master Sori to enlist his aid for revenge on the Ittō-ryū. Rin tries to convince him to join her, revealing that she is aware that he is a spy for the shogunate. Manji storms out of the house, but Rin stays, and wakes to find herself attacked by followers of the Ittō-ryū. Manji returns and slays many of them but is trapped against spikes on a tree. Rin unsuccessfully tries to fight off their leader, but just as he is about to kill her, Sori awakens from his artistic reverie when blood spatters on his face, and he stabs the leader through the throat. Later, Sori gives Rin some money as payment for providing the right color to complete his masterpiece. When Rin takes Manji's unusual weapons to a blacksmith for sharpening, she sees her father's sword. When its owner Magatsu arrives, she asks him to sell it to her. He agrees only if she tells him where to find the daughter of the Asano dojo, suspecting that she is that girl. That night, while Rin sleeps, Manji seeks out Magatsu. They have a fierce fight, both sustaining severe injuries, but Manji returns with Rin's father's sword.

💠 Komposed by Keiichi Suzuki for the film Zatoichi in 2003.

🔥 1:06 🔥

💠 Samurai Code aka "Bushido" means "the way of the warrior". The seven virtues of Bushido are:

1. "Gi" - Integrity. To do the right thing by yourself.

2. "Yuuki" - Bravery and courage. To show courage every moment of living, in danger or not.

3. "Jin" - Kindness and compassion. To show everyone kindness and show compassion for all regardless.

4. "Rei" - Politeness. Politeness is more than just being kind, it's about caring about others.

5. "Makoto" - Honesty. Be true by the actions you show, and by the words you speak.

6. "Meiyo" - To enjoy the honour. You must learn honour and enjoy it.

7. "Chuugi" - To be loyal. To be trustful, loyal, and show these unconditionally to others.

💠 All-in-all, I would call the above "British Values" as they used to be in the past.

High up in the Syndic Building, F. W. Taylor—Uncle Frank to Charles—was giving a terrific tongue-lashing to a big, stooped old man. Thornberry, president of the Chase National Bank, had pulled a butch and F. W. Taylor was blazing mad about it.

He snarled: "One more like this, Thornberry, and you are out on your padded can. When a respectable member of the Syndic chooses to come to you for a line of credit, you will in the future give it without any tom-fool quibbling about security. You bankers seem to think this is the middle ages and that your bits of paper still have their old black magic.

"Disabuse yourself of the notion. Nobody except you believes in it. The Inexorable Laws of Economics are as dead as Dagon and Ishtar, and for the same reason. No more worshippers. You bankers can't shove anybody around any more. You're just a convenience, like the non-playing banker in a card game.

"What's real now is the Syndic. What's real about the Syndic is its own morale and the public's faith in it. Is that clear?"

Thornberry brokenly mumbled something about supply and demand.

Taylor sneered. "Supply and demand. Urim and Thummim. Show me a supply, Thornberry, show me a—oh, hell. I haven't time to waste re-educating you. Remember what I told you and don't argue. Unlimited credit to Syndic members. If they overdo it, we'll rectify the situation. Now, get out." And Thornberry did, with senile tears in his eyes.

A tribute to Yukio Mishima and the war dead of Japan featuring scenes from his film 'Patriotism' and his last day with unknown audio. I did not make this, rather I saved it from YouTube years ago before it was deleted and pass it on (so apologies for any lack in quality). If you're the original editor let me know so I can credit you. Tenno Heika Banzai.

CRITICS' PRAISE FOR THE BOOK

"Miyamoto Musashi: A Life in Arms is an impressive work of scholarship, offering insanely detailed recounts of Musashi’s battles and movements, some so richly rendered that you’d swear De Lange was present at the time, taking notes." — San Francisco Book Review

“If anyone is qualified to fill in the missing details of Musashi’s life, it is De lange, who has surely done more research on the subject than any other non-Japanese…He has painted a remarkably vibrant portrait of Musashi, one that reveals all the contradictions of a remarkable life full of triumphs and disappointments, thrilling victories as well as bitter losses…This book is unquestionably a must-read for any student of budō. — Kendō World

"Miyamoto Musashi: A Life in Arms is highly recommended to anyone who is interested in the biography of this most interesting man who has inspired generations of swordsmen and manga fans alike." — Iaido Journal

"This is perhaps one of the most vital and important texts on the life of Miyamoto Musashi. De Lange has searched the original military records of the campaigns Musashi was involved with and other supporting documents to provide the first accurate assessment of Musashi's life in the English language.” — Irish Fighter Magazine

"If you are looking for a good read and a fantastic resource into the period in which Musashi lived then this is a great addition to your Koryu Library” — Kaigan Dojo

Further info about Miyamoto Musashi

Miyamoto Musashi (宮本 武蔵, 12 March 1584 – 13 June 1645), also known as Shinmen Takezō, Miyamoto Bennosuke or, by his Buddhist name, Niten Dōraku

Miyamoto Musashi was a Japanese swordsman, philosopher, strategist, writer and rōnin. Musashi, as he was often simply known, became renowned through stories of his unique double-bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 61 duels (next is 33 by Itō Ittōsai).

Musashi is considered a Kensei, a sword-saint of Japan. He was the founder of the Niten Ichi-ryū, or Nito Ichi-ryū, style of swordsmanship, and in his final years authored The Book of Five Rings (五輪の書, Go Rin No Sho) and Dokkōdō (The Path of Aloneness). Both documents were given to Terao Magonojō, the most important of Musashi's students, seven days before Musashi's death.

The Book of Five Rings deals primarily with the character of his Niten Ichi-ryū school in a concrete sense, i.e., his own practical martial art and its generic significance; The Path of Aloneness, on the other hand, deals with the ideas that lie behind it, as well as his life's philosophy in a few short aphoristic sentences. The Miyamoto Musashi Budokan training centre, located in Ōhara-chō (Mimasaka), Okayama prefecture, Japan was erected to honor his name and legend.

Samurai Champloo is set in an alternate version of Edo-era (1603–1868) Japan with an anachronistic, mainly hip hop, setting. It follows Mugen, an impudent and freedom-loving vagrant swordsman; Jin, a composed and stoic rōnin; and Fuu, a brave girl who asks them to accompany her in her quest across Japan to find the "samurai who smells of sunflowers".

I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching!

China is the world's most populous country and the world's third or fourth largest country by area. More people are starting to take notice of massive pyramids all over China and wondering about the ancient culture that must have erected them. A series of ancient mummies were discovered in present-day Xinjiang, China, which date from 1800 BC, likely Tocharians.
The Samurai, Japan’s warrior class, have been one of the most celebrated groups of people in modern pop culture. Numerous movies, TV shows, and video games have been made, picturing them in a mythical, mysterious, and noble manner. They later made up the ruling military class that eventually became the highest ranking social caste of the Edo Period (1603-1867).

Title: Ghost of Tsushima Song - When Honor Dies
Artist: Miracle of Sound (Gavin Dunne)
Album: Single (2020)

====Lyrics====

Proud and ancient land
Noble souls, a final stand
Blood on fallen leaves

Left alone and lost
Darkest lines that I must cross
Lords unite with thieves

Fear in the blade
The spirits of the fallen fade
Soil and degrade
My legacy and name
Bending the code
Defile the duty long bestowed
Burdened by the shame

When honor dies
There will be no pride in victory
When honor dies
I will be denied my history
I give my everything
Return the reckoning
Glare of the ghost fills my eyes
When honor dies

Balance for the mind
Blossoms paint the paths and shrines
Nature's poetry

Strike from the shade
Tradition of the kin betrayed
Soil and degrade
My lineage and claim
Exile and pain
A poison in the dying vein
Burdened by the shame

When honor dies
There will be no pride in victory
When honor dies
I will be denied my history
I give my everything
Return the reckoning
Glare of the ghost fills my eyes
When honor dies

Ghost of the fallen
The wind is ever guiding
Vengeance is calling
A specter in the night
Ghost of the fallen
Golden wings are gliding
Feeding the soil
So the world can return to life

My soul still cries

When honor dies
There will be no pride in victory
When honor dies
I will be denied my history
I give my everything
Return the reckoning
Glare of the ghost fills my eyes
When honor dies

I recommend this movie, it is set in 1860's Japan at a time the country was rapidly changing and the Samurai were expected to take part in modernisation and assimilate to a new way of life . Many Samurai resented the changes so in many ways we could make a comparison to modern day Western countries and how our culture is being dismantled and how westerners are expected to conform to a new world that doesn't share our values, I hope one day we as a people our race will rise once more and reclaim our lands.

Shin Samurai Spirits or Samurai Shodown II is a one-on-one fighting game featuring 15 weapon-wielding combatants, fighting to earn the right to face the game's powerful and difficult end boss.

Building upon the success of the first game, SNK added several new characters and more moves. This is particularly evident in the addition of the POW meter, which acts as a super special-move meter. These moves not only cause severe damage to opponents but also break their weapons, forcing them to fight unarmed for a short time before a replacement weapon is issued.

Gameplay was further expanded to include several new movement options, including the ability to roll forwards and backwards, to duck to avoid high attacks, or to do small hops to avoid low strikes. This was also the first game to incorporate an offensive blocking technique, or 'parry'. Via a command issued at the last second, players can deflect an incoming attack and leave their adversary open to counter-attack.

Shin Samurai Spirits featured cameo appearances from other SNK characters, as well as a hidden boss who would occasionally come out to challenge players.

"The path that leads to truth is littered with the bodies of the ignorant."

Yojimbo (用心棒 Yōjinbō) is a 1961 jidaigeki samurai film directed by Akira Kurosawa. It tells the story of a rōnin, portrayed by Toshiro Mifune, who arrives in a small town where competing crime lords vie for supremacy. The two bosses each try to hire the newcomer as a bodyguard.
* English subtitles embedded.

Based on the success of Yojimbo, Kurosawa's next film, Sanjuro (1962), was altered to incorporate the lead character of this film.[2][3] In both films, the character wears a rather dilapidated dark kimono bearing the same family mon.

In 1860, during the final years of the Edo period and the demise of the Tokugawa shogunate,[a] a rōnin (masterless samurai) wanders through a desolate Japanese countryside. While stopping at a farmhouse, he overhears an elderly couple lamenting that their only son has given up farm labouring in order to run off and join the rogues who have descended on a nearby town that has become divided by a gang war. The stranger heads to the town where he meets Gonji, the owner of a small izakaya who advises him to leave. He tells the rōnin that the two warring clans are led by Ushitora and Seibei. Ushitora was the right-hand man of Seibei but rebelled when Seibei decided to hand over the reins to his son Yoichiro, a useless youth. The town's mayor and its silk merchant, Tazaemon, had long been in Seibei's pocket, and Ushitora aligned himself with the sake brewer, Tokuemon, proclaiming him the new mayor. After sizing up the situation, the stranger says he intends to stay as the town would be better off with both sides dead.

He first convinces the weaker Seibei to hire him as a swordsman by effortlessly killing three of Ushitora's men. When asked his name, he sees a mulberry field and states his name is Kuwabatake Sanjuro (桑畑三十郎), where 桑畑 Kuwabatake = "mulberry field" and where 三十郎 Sanjuro ("thirty-years-old")[b] is implied to be a reference to his age, as he slyly quips: "Though I'm closer to forty, actually".

Seibei decides that with the ronin's swordsmanship (a service acquired with a large payment in ryō) the time is right to fight Ushitora. But Sanjuro eavesdrops on Seibei's wife who orders her son to kill him after the upcoming raid so that they will not have to pay his fee. Sanjuro leads his faction to attack the other but then "resigns", leaving Seibei to his fate. But before the two sides clash, the untimely arrival of a bugyō (an Edo-period government official) forces both sides to make a bloodless retreat.

Eventually the bugyō is called away because a government official was murdered in another town. Sanjuro soon learns it was two assassins hired by Ushitora who committed the murder to get the official to leave. With this knowledge, Sanjuro captures the pair of killers and sells them to Seibei. But he then tells Ushitora that it was Seibei's men who caught them. An alarmed Ushitora rewards him for his help. Ushitora then orders the kidnapping of Seibei's son who he offers in exchange for the two prisoners. However, Ushitora double crosses Seibei at the swap when his brother, Unosuke, shoots the assassins with a pistol. But Seibei anticipated this so he kidnapped Ushitora's woman. The next morning she is swapped with Seibei's son.

Sanjuro learns that the woman, Nui, is the wife of a local farmer who lost her to Ushitora over a gambling debt, who then gave her away as chattel to the influential sake brewer, Tokuemon, in order to gain his support. Sanjuro tricks Ushitora into revealing the place where Nui is hidden, then kills the guards and reunites the woman with her husband and son and tells them to leave town immediately. Pretending to be on Ushitora's side, Sanjuro is able to convince Ushitora that the woman was kidnapped by Seibei's men. A new spike in violence occurs in the gang war, Tazaemon's silk warehouse is burned down by Ushitora, and Tokuemon's sake brewery is trashed by Seibei in retaliation. After some time, Unosuke becomes suspicious of Sanjuro and the circumstances surrounding Nui's escape. Eventually Sanjuro is severely beaten and imprisoned by Ushitora's thugs after Unosuke discovers evidence of his double cross.

Sanjuro manages to escape when Ushitora decides to eliminate Seibei once and for all. As he is being carried out of town in a coffin by Gonji, the izakaya owner, he witnesses the brutal end to Seibei, his family and his clan. Sanjuro recuperates in a small temple near a cemetery. However, when he learns that the man who helped him has been taken by Ushitora, he returns to the town. Sanjuro manages to kill Ushitora and his men as well as Unosuke, even though he is armed with a pistol. He only spares one terrified young man who he encountered on his way into town. As Sanjuro surveys the damage, Tazaemon comes out of his home, in samurai outfit and beating a prayer drum. Tazaemon circles around town and then goes after and kills Tokuemon. Sanjuro frees Gonji and then departs, knowing that his task has been accomplished.

Japanese jidaigeki film directed by Akira Kurosawa and starring Toshiro Mifune. It is a sequel to Kurosawa's 1961 Yojimbo.
* embedded English subtitles.

Nine young samurai believe that the lord chamberlain, Mutsuta, is corrupt after he tore up their petition against fraud at court. One of them tells the superintendent of this and he agrees to intervene. As the nine meet secretly to discuss this at a shrine, a rōnin overhears and cautions them against trusting the superintendent. While at first they do not believe him, he saves them from an ambush. But as their rescuer is about to leave, he realises that Mutsuta and his family must now be in danger and decides to stay and help.

By the time the samurai get to Mutsuta's house, the chamberlain has been abducted and his wife and daughter are held prisoner there. Following the rōnin's suggestion, a servant from the house gets the guards drunk, allowing the samurai to free the women. Then the group hide in a house next door to the superintendent's compound. When Mutsuta's wife asks the rōnin his name, he looks out of the window at the surrounding camellia trees and says it is 椿三十郎 Tsubaki Sanjūrō, literally "thirty-years-old camellia”. The lady then criticises ‘Sanjuro’ for killing too frequently and insists that "the best sword is kept in its sheath."

Sanjuro decides to get closer to the corrupt officials and joins their henchman Hanbei, who had previously offered him a job after the ambush at the shrine. Although the samurai distrustfully decide to keep watch on him, Sanjuro realises he is being followed as he walks along with Hanbei, and their shadows are easily captured and bound. Made to believe that a much larger group may be involved, Hanbei leaves to request reinforcements. Sanjuro then frees the four captured samurai, although having to kill all their guards. He tells the four to leave him tied up, then explains to Hanbei on his return that he did not wish to die in a cause in which he had no stake.

The chamberlain’s whereabouts are not discovered until next day, when Mutsuta's wife and daughter find a piece of the torn petition in the small stream that flows from the superintendent's compound past their hideout. Since an attack on the officials is impossible with the compound full of armed men, Sanjuro hatches a plan to get the army away by reporting to Hanbei that he saw the rebels at a temple where he was sleeping. Meanwhile he has told his group of samurai that he will send the signal to attack by floating large numbers of camellias down the stream.

The first part of the plan works, with the superintendent's forces rushing off to the temple; however, Hanbei becomes suspicious after catching Sanjuro trying to drop the camellias into the stream and ties him up. Just as Hanbei is preparing to kill him, the remaining corrupt officials realise that Sanjuro has tricked them - his description of the temple was incorrect. They convince Hanbei not to waste any further time and instead catch up with the superintendent's forces and have them return as soon as possible. However, Sanjuro tricks the officials into giving the signal for the samurai to come to the rescue. Hanbei returns to find he has been made a fool of once again.

Mutsuta is restored to his position and the superintendent commits hara-kiri, much to the chamberlain's regret, as he wished to avoid a public scandal. As his family and the loyal samurai are celebrating, they discover that Sanjuro has slipped away. The samurai race off and find Sanjuro and Hanbei about to duel.

Sanjuro is reluctant to fight and tries to dissuade Hanbei, but Hanbei is furious at his loss of dignity and declares he can only find ease by killing Sanjuro. The two face off, but as Hanbei draws his sword, Sanjuro defeats him by drawing and cutting in a single, faster action. A fountain of blood gushes from Hanbei and he falls dead. When the young samurai cheer his victory, Sanjuro becomes angry and says he will kill them if they follow him. His admirers can only kneel and bow as he walks away.

A 2004 PBS Empires Special History Documentary narrated by Richard Chamberlain.

Commanding shoguns and fierce samurai warriors, exotic geisha and exquisite artisans—all were part of a Japanese renaissance between the 16th and 19th centuries when Japan went from chaos and violence to a land of ritual refinement and peace. But stability came at a price: for nearly 250 years, Japan was a land closed to the Western world, ruled by the shogun under his absolute power and control.

Japan: Memoirs of a Secret Empire brings to life the unknown story of a mysterious empire, its relationship with the West, and the forging of a nation that would emerge as one of the most important countries in the world.

Episode 1: The Way of the Samurai
In the early 16th century, Japan is a warlike society ruled by samurai and their daimyo warlords. When Portuguese merchants arrive in 1543, they are the first Europeans to set foot in Japan. Missionaries quickly set out to convert the nation to Christianity. In the same year, a samurai boy named Tokugawa Ieyasu is born to a low ranking daimyo family. Tokugawa Ieyasu unified Japan and established a dynasty that would rule Japan for over 250 years.

Miyamoto Musashi (c. 1584 – June 13, 1645) was a Japanese swordsman, philosopher, writer and rōnin.

Musashi, as he was often simply known, became renowned through stories of his excellent and unique double-bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 61 duels.

He was the founder of the Niten-Ichi-Ryū-School or Nito-Ichi-ryū style of swordsmanship and in his final years authored The Book of Five Rings.

These are his 21 commandments for Samurai warriors.

1. Accept everything just the way it is.
2. Do not seek pleasure for it's own sake.
3. Do not, under any circumstances, depend on a partial feeling.
4. Think lightly of yourself and deeply of the world.
5. Be detached from desire your whole life long.
6. Do not regret what you have done.
7. Never be jealous.
8. Never let yourself be saddened by separation.
9. Resentment and complaint are appropriate neither for yourself nor others.
10. Do not let yourself be guided by the feeling of lust or love.
11. In all things have no preferences.
12. Be indifferent to where you live.
13. Do not pursue the taste of good food.
14. Do not hold on to possessions you no longer need.
15. Do not act following customary beliefs.
16. Do not collect or practice with weapons beyond what is useful.
17. Do not fear death.
18. Do not seek to possess either goods or fiefs for your old age.
19. Respect Buddha and the gods without counting on their help.
20. You may abandon your own body but not your honour.
21. Never stray from the way.

One of my cousin's buddies was awesome in giving me a copy of Starlink for the Nintendo Switch, as well as the Samurai Jack DVD set, which has Seasons 1 through 4.

The first 3 episodes of Samurai Jack's final season were some of the most exciting animations I've seen in years. I wanted to pay tribute to it.

Disclaimer: This is a trans-formative work. Samurai Jack is created by Genndy Tartakovsky. "Jack" is voiced by Phil LaMarr.
