As a 90's kid, this was one of the arcade games you saw fucking EVERYWHERE! But I was always terrible at it. Recently I decided to give it a go, but this series is more of a casual playthrough, like my Tekken 1 videos meaning I don't really care if I loose. Case in point, I had to use 3 continues in this particular playthrough.
I always found this dude to be awesome, including the fact he was the biggest character in the game. Even for having the simplest moveset, he's a fun character to use, defenitely would be my main if I played this seriously.

I thought i present some artworks from great japanese masters of the past, with some of my own work mixed in. (probably a stupid idea since now my stuff stands in comparison to those.)
I wonder if someone mistakes some of my stuff with the old masters, but i doubt it XD
Shill mode on: Those are all on my RB Store, link in the pinned comment. Even the old masters stuff, since the copyright for those expired due to them beiing hundreds of years old. (Pictures were not the best quality though so i had to polish them up, and also those in this vid are all cut out from their background and sometimes i added design elements like a circle in the background so they work better on T-shirts n stuff. Also on some of them like the cow-spider demon i added legs where they were cut off from the border of the painting. (I wonder if anyone would've noticed if i didn't told you.)
The topic of Yokai is pretty interesting, btw. There are tons of different and pretty creative ones. Old folklore from around the world is superior to what we get today most of the time by the corporate media machines, wich is sadly mostly jumpscares and explosions and not deep metaphoric stuff like the old legends have to offer.

Lafcadio Hearn was a Greek born to a harsh childhood on the island of Lefkada. At the age of 19, he moved to Cincinnati and later New Orleans. Hearn then went on to Japan where he worked as a teacher, eventually marrying into a local samurai family. His writings, among the few at the time written by a Western author, offered his audience rare glimpses into the elusive Japanese culture.

SAMURAI DOGGY #1
During the Fourth War of the Sun, a small dog named DOGGY experienced an irreparable trauma: his mother was brutally murdered, and his eight brothers, still puppies, were kidnapped by a mysterious man. To save them, Doggy fought bravely against the terrible killer, but all his efforts were in vain, and he was left for dead. What nobody imagined was that a technological vulture scavenging the region for corpses would be the one to rescue the dying dog from death's scythe.
Now, Doggy has become Samurai Doggy, and his only goal is to quench his thirst for revenge.
