Introducing the first of five videos that comprise my second series, created on Goanimate.com, called Space Opera. Part sci-fi action series, part satire, Space Opera is my take on the familiar starship sub-genre but with a comedic twist.
The Captain is an overly stressed coward, the crew is stuck with him, and together they take on highly dangerous missions in the midst of a galactic war.
Decided to do another science fiction art compilation and actually put music in the background this time. (Learning to edit, yay!) There's also a few book covers and a handful of memes that sneaked in when I wasn't looking... but this is MAGA country so I doubt any of you will mind.
An animated movie that tries to explain the difference between 1st, 2nd and 3rd dimensions. A unique sci-fi movie that tries to teach and entertain at the same time. Check out the review, see if it succeeded.
THX 1138 is a 1971 science fiction film directed by George Lucas in his feature directorial debut. The film was written by Lucas and Walter Murch. It stars Robert Duvall and Donald Pleasence and depicts a dystopian future in which the populace is controlled through android police officers and mandatory use of drugs that suppress emotion, including sexual desire.
THX 1138 was developed from Lucas' student film Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB, which he made in 1967 while attending the University of Southern California's film school. The feature film was produced in a joint venture between Warner Brothers and Francis Ford Coppola's production company, American Zoetrope. A novelization by Ben Bova was published in 1971.
Dark City is a 1998 neo-noir science fiction film directed by Alex Proyas and starring Rufus Sewell, Kiefer Sutherland, Jennifer Connelly, and William Hurt. The screenplay was written by Proyas, Lem Dobbs, and David S. Goyer. Sewell plays John Murdoch, an amnesiac man who finds himself suspected of murder. Murdoch attempts to discover his true identity and clear his name while on the run from the police and a mysterious group known only as the "Strangers".

Music by Yoshiwaku free to download here http://archive.org/details/Greyphonics_Yoshiwaku Luc Besson's first work as a director was this short film about one man's struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. After a global nuclear catastrophe, all trace of civilisation is reduced to ruins. Pollution in the atmosphere has robbed man of his power of speech, and mankind is reduced to eking out a pitiful existence amidst the debris. One man manages to escape from a band of marauders in a wasteland by patching up an aeroplane. He lands in what remains of a former city, where he encounters a homicidal brute. He is able to fend off the brute with help from a doctor, who lives alone in what was once a hospital. The doctor has a secret, however. He is keeping a woman prisoner in his cellar... Besson re-made this short a few years later as his first feature film "LE DERNIER COMBAT" (1983).
