Here's a short stream, where I just play a bit of Mortal Kombat 2 for the Sega Genesis. This stream was a bit of a trainwreck, as the emulator I was using needed quite a bit of work arounds to let you play using a 6-button configuration, so I was playing with just the 3-button configuration. Not that this game hasn't aged like milk, because it certainly has. Anyway, wish me luck, and let's go!

Seima Densetsu 3x3 Eyes (聖魔伝説 サザンアイズ) is a JRPG developed and published by Sega. It is based of the manga 3x3 Eyes and was only released in Japan and Korea.

3x3 Eyes is about a girl named Pai who is the last remaining Sanjiyan Unkara, immortal people with three eyes who live somewhere in Tibet. Pai wants to become a human. After befriending an archaeologist who had travelled to Tibet in search of the Sanjiyan Unkara, the archaeologist wants to help her find a way to become a human. However, the archaeologist dies due to an illness. Pai travels to Tokyo in order to find his son, Yakumo, and deliver his last letter to him. Through a series of events, Yakumo gets killed by Takuhi, Pai's demon friend. Using her third eye, Pai absorbs Yakumo's soul which heals his body, but makes him her undead servant and protector. Now Yakumo can only become human again, if Pai becomes human. On the other hand, if Pai gets killed, Yakumo will also die. Unfortunately, Pai is being chased by followers of the now-dead demon god Kaiyanwang who want to use Pai to resurrect Kaiyanwang.

The game uses a common top-down perspective, while combat is shown from two other perspectives. Commands are entered while seeing a first person view, while the attacks are shown from a side-view. Combat is turn-based. Besides the usual commands, you can also order a character to protect another.
You start off with two characters, Pai and Yakumo, in your party, but other character will join your party throughout the game.

Wakusei Woodstock - Funky Horror Band ("Planet Woodstock - ...") (惑星ウッドストック ファンキーホラーバンド) is a JRPG. It was published by Sega and allegedly developed by Advanced Communication Company. It is a tie-in to to Funky Horror Band, which was a multimedia project around a puppet band of aliens. The game was only released in Japan.

A group of aliens who form a band crash-lands on Earth. A young man, played by you, rescues the aliens from their wrecked shipped and brings them to his village. Unfortunately, they have forgotten to take their instruments with them. Since, for some reason, in your village, you have to play a certain melody to be allowed to leave, they cannot leave the village, so they ask them to bring their instruments from ship. Of course, the trouble only starts here...

Gameplay is mostly standard for JRPGs. You have a top-down view and turn-based fights from a first-person perspective. Since the game has a musical theme, you play melodies instead attacking, weapons are replaced by instruments and armour by various garments.

Delisoba Deluxe (デリソバ デラックス) is a racing game developed by Gave in cooperation with Sega. It was released by television station TBS as a giveaway for participants of their game show "Tokyo Friend Park". One of the games of the show was Delisoba (for delivery soba) where contestants had to ride a motorcycle to deliver a box of soba to the TBS TV Studios, and Delisoba Deluxe is a port of this game with some additional features.

The original gives you a time limit, and you need to reach TBS studios at the end of the course within it. There is also a time attack mode where race the same course as fast as possible.

Sonic Spinball is a mix between pinball game and platformer. It was first developed by Sega Technical Institute for the Mega Drive/ Genesis and then ported to the Game Gear and Master System by Sega Interactive Development Division. The 8-Bit versions differ to some extend in terms of level layouts and cut down on the platforming in comparison. The Master System port was only released in Europe and Brazil.

Sonic Spinball consists of several levels. Each of them is a complex pinball board where Sonic needs to find several chaos Emeralds to unlock the path for the boss fight, then defeat the boss. Most of the time you shoot Sonic around like a pinball with various flippers, similar to some bonus rounds in the regular Sonic games. Unlike an ordinary ball, you can slightly alter Sonics direction, which makes hitting certain targets a bit easier. In some areas you can control Sonic directly and need to do some platforming, usually unlock something.

Jaguar XJ220 is a racing game developed by British company Core Design. It was published by Sega in Europe, by JVC Musical Industries in North America, by Victor Musical Industries in Japan and by Samsung Electronics in Korea. Core Design developed the game originally for the Amiga, but the Mega-CD version had a major overhaul with redrawn graphics, additional graphics, sprite scaling and CD music.

The has similar premise as Gremlin's Lotus, featuring a single model from a renowned sports car manufacturer, in this case the eponymous Jaguar XJ220. Unlike Lotus however, the opponent's cars are from other manufacturers, only the names have been changed (e.g. Ferrino for Ferrari or Bezantti for Bugatti).

You can choose to either do a world tour or a grand prix, or you can practice any course (without opponents). There is also a two-play mode. During grand prix, you do a series of race and score points based on the position you finish on. If you reach at least the tenth place, you get points and also some money. You need the money to repair your car, as it gets damaged if you bump into things. If you cannot pay for necessary repairs, it's game over.

Baby Boom is an arcade game which being developed for Mega Drive/ Genesis, Game Gear and Mega CD/ Sega CD. Foley Hi-Tech was involved in the development of the Mega Drive/ Genesis version, but I do not know who else. Baby Boom was scheduled for release in late 1994, but was cancelled.
The story is set on New Year's Eve, 1999. You have taken the job of monitoring several hundred babies at high-tech nursery whose parents are out celebrating on New Year's Eve. One million dollars was promised to you. Unfortunately, earning the money becomes much more difficult after midnight, because the computers stop running due to the Y2K bug. This leads to all doors to the babies' rooms opening, and the babies crawling all over the places. Now you have to bring all the escaped babies back to their nursery beds before there parents come, or you do not get paid. Also, for some reason, there are countless breakable things around, and you have to prevent the babies from breaking anything, as you'll have to pay for everything broken out of your own pocket.

Rent A Hero is an Action-RPG developed and published by Sega . It was only released in Japan. This video shows a an English fan translation released in 2015. Rent A Hero later received a remake called Rent A Hero No. 1 for Dreamcast, which was also released for the original Xbox, but these where also published solely in Japan.

You play a youngster who has just moved with his family to a new town. Your dad hosts a party for the new neighbours so that everyone gets know the family. When the food runs out, your dad asks you to order some delivery and gives you the number of SECA (for Sensational cafeteria). But when the delivery arrives you find out that the box does not contain food but a strange high-tech suit which happens to give its wearer superhuman strength, as you (and your dad) soon find out. Turns out that SECA secretly deals with these suits for people to become a "Rent A Hero" and make the world a better place. The business model is that you rent the suit from SECA for a monthly fee and take on jobs assigned to you via SECA. You get paid for finishing the jobs and SECA receives a share.

You play the game with a single character. You can change between your normal self and the suit-wearing superhero anytime. However, the suit constantly drains energy and will not work once its energy is depleted. However, you can recharge your suit with batteries from any convenience store. The combat is action-oriented. You take on your opponent in a beat'em up-style battle. There are no traditional experience points, but you can donate money to sECA to develop improvement for your suit.

Dungeons & Dragon - Warriors of the Eternal Sun is an RPG which was developed by Westwood and published by Sega. It is set in D&D's Mystara. Goblins are attacking the land of Duke Hector Barrik and, after 13 months of war, are about to overrun the Duke's castle. However, before the goblins can start their final assault, the earth shakes, the sky rips open and both men and goblins are sucked in the void and transported into another world. The Duke, his followers and the castle end up in a strange valley which is completely surrounded by steep cliffs and constantly bathed in light from a crimson sun that never sets. The Duke summons your party and sends you out to find allies in this savage, new world.

You control a party of up to four characters. You can either characters on your own or start with a default party.

There are two types of gameplay. While exploring the world, the game uses a slightly isometric perspective similar to Ultima VI or VII. Apart from scripted fights, encounters are random (though can you can see an enemy sprite approaching and try to run away, adjust your position or at least use some long-range weapons) and battles are turn-based. When you enter a dungeon, the game switches to a first-person view similar to Westwood's own Eye of the Beholder. Enemies are always displayed in the dungeon, and movement and battles are in real-time.

Sonic month! June of 1991 saw the start of one of the most prolific video game icons of all time. This is true whether you love sonic, hate him, feel 'meh', or think it's mad cringe. We've been streaming and playing through Sonic games all month, and now that we're done, I just wanted to give my thoughts on the franchise & history as a whole, as well as my views on where the series is heading.

Also, a few things I forgot to mention:
1) It sucks that Sonic Colors is going to be an Epic Games exclusive, although I do think it'll come around to other platforms and storefronts eventually.
2) I do think it's kind of a lame way to ring in Sonic's 30th with just a port of a decade old game, although if they rushed the next Sonic game, we'd get similar results to '06. So maybe they should've just planned it better in advance?
3) That said, I did play Sonic Colors on the Wii back in the day for a little bit and thought it was... Very okay. Very easy, very linear, not bad, but not amazing. I think the overhype for it in recent years is mostly due to the fact that it was a Wii exclusive (so not everyone could play it to verify how good it was), and that the recent stretch of games and the stretch of games leading up to Colors was so bad. All the same though, I hope this gives people chance to play it, and find out for themselves.
4) If you're curious as to why someone would NOT like Sonic Adventure 2 (a novel concept, I know), you could watch my playthrough of it, read my Steam review of it, or check out Implant Game's video review of it, as I watched it after I was done with SA2, and feel it is the most fair and balanced review of it, and he highlights the game's many issues. Alex Kidd in Miracle World is a platformer developed and released by Sega. It is considered to be Sega's answer to the original Super Mario Bros. game, and Alex became Sega's mascot until the arrival of Sonic.
Alex is a boy with monkey ears who has mastered the technique to smash rocks with bare hands. He needs to free the land of the evil Janken and also rescue his brother from Janken's castle.
Alex can jump and use his fist to smash enemies, blocks, etc. He has an inventory to store items which can be used when needed, like a ring which enables him to shoot fireballs. He can also use several vehicles like motorcycles or a "peticopter" throughout the game. Occasionally, Alex can enter a shop where he can buy items or vehicles from the money he has collected in the levels. Some levels end with a boss fight. Several boss fights consist of a game of Janken (the Japanese name for Rock-Paper-Scissors).

Astérix and the Secret Mission is platformer developed and published by Sega. It is the successor to Sega's game Astérix for the Master System. Astérix and the Secret Mission also came out for the Master System. The Game Gear version was only released in Europe.
Getafix, the druid who supplies the village with Magic Potion has run out of ingredients. To avoid the Romans getting notice of this, he secretly sends out Astérix and Obelix to fetch the missing ingredients.
The game is similar to its predecessor, but more straightforward and with less puzzles. Again, you can choose for each level to play as either Astérix or Obelix. Astérix controls better and has a double jump, bu he needs to find a magic potion in order to smash blocks and other things.
