One of the world’s most qualified and skeptical COVID-19 experts believes that people who have already recovered from COVID-19 should not take a vaccine against it.
In case it isn't clear, this is a satirical parody of vaccine propaganda.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) released body camera footage Wednesday of the ambush shooting of a deputy in May of this year that shows he was shot without warning less than a minute after exiting his vehicle. In a Facebook post, LCSO said it was releasing the video recorded on the camera worn by Deputy Michael Hutton during the shooting to provide "insight and transparency" surrounding the ambush. Hutton, who has been with the sheriff's office for seven years, was shot three times early in the morning on May 20 while responding to a theft-in-progress call near mile marker 386 of Highway 40 near Hugo.
He was released from the hospital a few days after the shooting. The theft was reported just after 3 a.m. by a professional truck driver who was awoken by noises in the area and spotted a man "actively" stealing from the back of a semi-trailer that had been forcefully opened, according to LCSO.
Video released Wednesday shows Hutton arriving to the area and meeting up with the man who reported the theft. As the two of them are talking, suddenly several gunshots are heard. Hutton was shot about 45 seconds after getting out of his car, and although he was wearing a bulletproof vest, it was not struck by any of the gunfire. He was hit in his arm, hand, and torso.
Radio traffic was also released of Hutton describing, with labored breathing, that he believed he had been shot three times and that he was losing blood "pretty quick." Due to the location of the shooting, it took roughly 20 minutes for other deputies to arrive and provide medical assistance. Two deputies arrived and were clearly frantic as they asked Hutton where he was hit and began to assess his wounds. He was eventually taken to a Denver area hospital for treatment.
The man who deputies said shot Hutton was later found dead in a field from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was identified as Tristin Ensinger, a 25-year-old man from Ohio. The body camera footage shows that he fired at Hutton from inside the back of one of the semi-trucks. In addition to the body camera video, LCSO also released audio of the 911 that was made by the truck driver.

A 19-year-old woman shot by police Saturday during a Juneteenth celebration parade in Flint has died of her injuries, according to the Michigan State Police. Villa Hills, Kentucky — On Feb. 20, Randall Lockaby, 57, pulled a gun on officers after he was stopped for a traffic violation on I-71 South, according to Kentucky State Police. Officer Jacob Bolton pulled over Randall Lockaby, 57, of Manchester, Kentucky on Feb. 2 for speeding. Officer Sean Dooley arrived as backup. As Officer Bolton works on the paperwork, Officer Dooley speaks to Lockaby in the pickup truck. Dooley tells Lockaby he seems nervous and asks for consent to search the truck. As Lockaby steps out of the truck, he's seen on Dooley's body cam pulling out a gun. Officers then fired shots which struck Lockaby, who was transported to St. Elizabeth in Florence and later died. Neither officer was injured. The actions of the officers were lawful and in self-defense.

A White House official said Monday that President Donald Trump was willing to take the COVID-19 vaccine on TV - but he may not be the best candidate because he already beat the disease.
'He's expressed his willingness,' an official told reporters during an on-background call. 'I think there is an open question as to whether, ultimately, he will be one of the ones taking it on-air. And that's simply a function of whether that would actually serve the desired purpose given the fact he's a recovered patient.'
The president and first lady tested positive for COVID-19 in early October and Trump was briefly hospitalized at Walter Reed, before returning to the White House and, eventually, the campaign trail.
Three former ex-presidents - Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama - said they would take the vaccine and have it filmed, in order to build up public confidence.
Last week, President-elect Joe Biden said he would the trio of ex-presidents and also take the vaccine on TV.
There's already a growing anti-vax movement in the United States and medical experts are hoping to quell that with the first series of vaccinations against the coronavirus only weeks away.
'The president has previously expressed his willingness to do whatever the experts thought was the best path in terms of instilling vaccine confidence,' the senior official said.
'As you know the president recovered from COVID and so I think there is something that's up for discussion as to whether someone who's recovered from COVID and has antibodies would necessarily be a high-priority for receiving the vaccine and for the purposes of vaccine confidence,' the White House aide continued.
The official didn't name any names, but said a number of prominent people have come forward and volunteered to get the vaccine on-air.
'But there are other, sort of, shall we say vaccine influencers and experts who, I think, have come forward and volunteered to participate and that would help build public confidence,' the official said. 'And we're certainly considering those offers.'
The official was speaking to reporters about Tuesday's planned White House 'Vaccine Summit,' which will include Trump signing an executive order prioritizing that Americans receive the COVID-19 vaccine first.
Several hours later, The New York Times reported that Pfizer - which could be the first company that sees its product get an emergency use authorization approved by the Food and Drug Administration - had offered more doses of the vaccine to the Trump administration, and the administration declined.
With Pfizer etching deals with other countries too, that could mean delays for Americans wanting product. The current deal with Pfizer is for 100 million doses, which could vaccinate 50 million Americans, as two shots are needed.
STAT also reported Monday that Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel had been invited to appear Tuesday in Washington and declined.
Pfizer and Moderna have both filed paperwork with the FDA to get emergency use authorizations for their vaccines.
Another one bites the dust.

Terrifying video captured the moment a father was shot in the leg as he tried to shield his three young children from a gunman who opened fire inside a car dealership in the Bronx.
The shooting took place at around 7.20pm on Monday at On The Road Automotive in the Eastchester neighborhood.
Video obtained by DailyMail.com showed the 39-year-old dad and his children sitting on a couch inside the used car shop when a man in a black hoodie ran up and began firing through an open glass door.
The dad immediately scooped up his kids and dove to the floor, attempting to block them from a barrage of bullets with his body.
Seconds later a door shattered, sending a shards of glass flying around the showroom as the family crawled to safety.
Investigators believe the shooting is gang-related.
Sources told the New York Daily News that a gang member was doing business in the dealership when their rival opened fire.
The sources said investigators have not determined whether the father-of-three was targeted.
