Victory For Freedom - Illinois Is Now Officially Open
Clay County Judge Michael McHaney (shown in video) just ruled in favor of State Representative Darren Bailey by granting his request for summary judgement against Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The judge also expanded his decision to affect not just Bailey, as had been sought, but ALL Illinois citizens. As a result, Illinois is now officially open.
Before writing the order, the judge refuted that data drives the Governor's decisions, but more that "it fits his agenda". He said residents can't be required to "cede their rights" as government "cannot restrict freedoms". He noted that Pritzker cites "experts" in his decision-making, but says we don't know who those "experts" are. He also said due process is not "flexible", something he says has been indicated by the governor, and said "Hell will freeze before this Court admits that". Ultimately, Judge McHaney said Pritzker's executive orders and emergency extensions constitute "absolute power" and declared them "unconstitutional".

Dan has decided to take this weekly Tuesday show on an Indefinite Hiatus. This show was orginally launced to combat the censorship and loss of views but has become a fight we can't win anymore. Another fiscal year has come and gone and another spending resolution deadline is looming. It seems like every year we go through the same exercise with the political class arguing and casting blame on each other over who is going to cause the latest, pending government shutdown.
Well guess what? It is largely inconsequential. The amount of federal spending that Congress actually controls is around 14% of the budget. So we are supposed to tie ourselves in knots over a minuscule part of the budget while the federal government continues its ever-expanding march into unconstitutional areas of American's lives. It's all an unnecessary distraction from the real problems that plague our nation and it is a distraction from Congress' abdication of most of their constitutional duties.
