Join me on my latest solo sail from mainland France to Corsica. We start in the bay of Cassis and sail to Porquerolles and then all the way to Calvi in the "island of beauty". I'm showing different ways of sailing, a dolphins encounter, admiring a perfect sunset in the middle of the sea, reflecting on night time sailing and its dangers and finally enjoying a beautiful sunrise over Corsica.

Musical notes: the tune has chord variations of B, C#m, F#m and A. I found using B Mixolydian and/or C#m Natural Minor or Aeolian scale shapes plus their relative patterns to be useful, but of course and as always, do what you feel and what stirs and inspires you!

I thought I would brush up on my improvisational guitar playing after working out and recording guitar parts for too long and neglecting guitar improvisation for far too long. I have always enjoyed improvising on the guitar and jamming, whether that be with composed tracks and/or other musicians and so on. I have also realised I need to expand my horizons a bit and add some more chops and licks to my guitar vocabulary. Plus, clean up my sloppiness! :D

Over the past couple months I have been playing around with drop c and I really like the sounds being produced. Here I am practicing a piece of music for a song call "Terminal Chaos".

My goal with this fanedit was to restore Han’s character to what we knew of him from the original Star Wars Trilogy. Download Solo a Star Wars IC Fanedit here https://bit.ly/insertcointent All through "Solo a Star Wars Story" Han is made out to be incapable, insecure and very needy. This combined with an endless supply of terrible lines and cringey humor, made it a very frustrating watch for me. So, I went in and fixed all that stuff. I cut out about 25 minutes total, which might not seem like much, but if you consider that I did not take out any major parts then you can imagine how many terrible lines got cut. These changes make a world of difference and hugely improve the movie.

I won’t be posting a list with changes for this one because there are just too many, but you can watch my “Solo a Cringe compilation” video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9wsEHNgYV4 to see some of the stuff that got cut, but to be honest that’s just the top of the iceberg I cut so much more.

This time i try take on an outpost - and things go waaaaay too well for a normal game.

This is a seven note lick. All notes are on the third string. Let's consider it in two parts. Part one is three notes, C - 5th fret, pull off to Bb - 3rd fret, pull off to the open G. Part two is four notes, hammer on to Bb - 3rd fret, hammer on to C - 5th fret, pull off to Bb - 3rd fret, pull off to open G. Repeat. This is executed with one pick stroke to get it started. All subsequent notes are sounded by the hammer on and pull off action. The lick is also played with heavy palm muting as I slowly move my right hand closer and closer to the bridge to decrease the palm muting over time and eventually end up with no palm muting at all.
