A little rusty playing Starfox 64 again after a few years. The new aesthetics breathe new life into the game. I also discovered a neat trick by accident. Doing a loop in the waterfall makes it easier to score plus +1's on the incoming enemies.
A casual Area 6 score run on Expert mode. Due to a glitch in the game the score on all levels is capped at 511.

A new rom hack was released that adds a second player to the main SNES Star Fox game. (There have been updates since we played it)
Get ready for a lot of salt, a lot of train-wreck moments, and a lot of clutch moments, because today we're tackling on the 3rd path in the original Star Fox for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System as played on the SNES Classic Edition. This was a pretty painful stream, especially towards the middle. I do like this game, but there are some infuriatingly frustrating parts of the game! Time for a brief mini-series where I play through the 3 campaigns/difficulties of the original Star Fox for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, as played on my SNES Classic Edition! Yeah, I wanna talk a little bit of a break from Morrowind so I don't burn myself out on it. I also want a few shorter stream uploads to accommodate some of my other subscribers who may be a bit short on time. Anyway, truth be told I only ever played Star Fox 64 (although I played an insane amount of that one back in the day), and delayed playing this one until now. A man named Jorge Mendoza Velasco made a really cool Paper Starfox 64 video and it got me thinking about the Starfox franchise. Nintendo just keeps remaking the same game every time. Star Fox 64 was one of my favorite games that I missed out on in the N64 era (my first exposure to the game was through Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Masterpieces mode, of all places), and it's one that I think aged very well. Of course, I was extremely saddened to hear that Rick May, Peppy Hare's original English VA, passed away earlier this month. As a sort of tribute, I blazed through Star Fox 64's good ending for the first time in years and eventually did a Famitracker cover of its main theme. If you have not played Star Fox 64, I highly recommend it!

It’s been a while since I’ve made this mistake.
Looks like I forgot to plug in the headset so you can only hear commentary from the internal microphone. And since this is blind I don’t think it’d be best to redo it since that would somewhat spoil the idea of learning the game as the gameplay is being recorded.
My mother took Xion (my gaming machine) to the computer repair shop. It turned out that her gpu's fan was in bad shape after all. Because of this, the card will have to be replaced with either one that is similar or one that is a little more powerful. That service could end up costing up to $200 (around $330 if I get a new monitor too, since my current one is almost 10 years old.) Even though my mother can cover that fee as a Christmas present, that is still not cheap. Pray that Xion survives the servicing that she needs and that my mother gets a decent discount.
Joseph (my previous computer) is clocking time for GMod in Xion's place right now. However, as you can see, he does not handle that bloated game very well anymore, since he is getting old.
