In this video I show you that you can upgrade your Insight to a heated steering wheel and which one to order.

Order part # 08U97-TVA-110A
Make sure you order this exact part number!
This is an Accord model steering wheel. Same as the Insight's except for the obvious inclusion of heat.

It will definitely work on a Touring model and should work just fine on an EX and LX model. Just transfer the buttons from your old steering wheel to the new one. This steering wheel is leather covered.

It should only be a 1 hour install job. Don't let your dealer scoff at this. It does work and it's an easy install!

This 2013 Hyundai Sonata made nasty CLUNK noises when driving. It turns out that the power steering system uses an electric motor connected to the steering column, and some genius engineer thought it'd be great to put a rubber bushing that falls apart inside the linkage. This video will help you through the arduous task of getting to this bushing and replacing it. Steering columns are very heavy, so be careful if you attempt this alone.

It's possible to steer a sailboat without changing the rudder position, just by trimming the sails in a certain way. This video shows how the sailboat keeps the same heading just by properly balancing the fore and aft sails, without any action on the steering wheels. On a philosophical note, this can be seen as an application of the wu wei principle (doing by not doing) or as Alan Watts put it, the principle of "not forcing".

Using as many parts from the original Audi A6 C4, worked well with my original prototype, but unfortunately the new 2.7T A6 uses many different parts, that I don’t think I can use.

Steering design is very complicated, but there are some obvious issues that can catch out even the best kitcar or custom car designer.

So parts from a second donor car may need to be sourced for the turbo chassis build.
