Street Fighter 1 Remake (2014 MUGEN Game) - Cody Playthrough

Here's a game that i could've made a gameplay video about ever since i made this channel. It's a remake of the original Street Fighter game made with MUGEN, but unlike other SF1 MUGEN remakes, this one doesn't use the graphics from the original game. It tries to be more like a remake based on the graphical style of the SF Alpha/Zero games which i think is cool since i always thought Capcom should've made something like this.

Sadly however, i can't go back to play this game more often because the game's exe file seems to have viruses. And when i try to extract the game from the zip Winrar file that has the game, my computer always erases the gmugen exe file that is needed to run the game so sorry i can't share the game due to those reasons.

Now you may be wondering why i still made a video on this game knowing it might fill my PC with viruses while my PC is constantly erasing the exe file when trying to extract it. Well the reason i still made the video is because i finally got around to get a new computer so if this older PC gets corrupted by viruses then it doesn't matter, i'm not losing much if i'm about to get rid of this PC in favour of a newer one anyway. I also got around the issue of the PC deleting the exe file by just executing it without extracting the game.

But how does it feel to play this game? Well it's allright, but it does have the typical MUGEN game problem of having characters that are either too easy or too hard to beat regardless of the difficulty settings. For example, Joe is pretty hard to beat, not what i would call an average joe i suppose, but other characters like Mike and Lee are no challenge at all. Even on the hardest difficulty setting, it's still easy to beat them.

I also don't like how you can't fight all characters in the game in one playthrough. That's definitely a step down from the original game. I had to replay the game over and over so i could get the characters i wanted to fight. Oh well, i still like this game. This is probably the last video i'm going to produce and upload on this computer aside from maybe some videos of me playing Project M/Project +.
