Without Warning is a U.S. TV movie that premiered on CBS on Halloween night, October 31, 1994. The movie centered on one news reporter (veteran journalist Sander Vanocur appearing as himself) and a scientific analyst (Jane Kaczmarek as Dr. Caroline Jaffe) covering a breaking news story of three meteor fragments crashing into the Earth's northern hemisphere. The movie is presented as if it were an actual breaking news event, complete with remote reports from reporters. The film never breaks character, never going behind the scenes.

Wing Commander is a film that I didn't appreciate at the time but do now. All I saw at the time were the flaws and boy does this film have some flaws. There's what is essentially WWII combat in space. The love story is an annoying distraction. The Kilrathi are horribly realized. The script has some of the corniest lines you'll ever hear.
The plot of this black and white film revolved around an eerie creature who has been roaming around in the Amazon jungle. A group of scientists make an attempt at bringing the creature in for a detailed study but the plans go downhill with time.

Professor Quatermass, returning to his rocket base after London's refusal to proceed with his project to colonize the Moon, is intrigued by the mysterious traces that have been showing up on his radar. Led to the area where they should be landing he finds a destroyed village, a mysterious factory, the design of which is very close to that of his Moon colony and some strange, aerodynamic objects containing a mysterious, ammonia-based substance that "infects" one of his assistants. Further investigation of the factory reveals aliens with deadly designs on the Earth.
A Scientist, experimenting with telekinetic powers enhanced by a nearby nuclear power plant, succeeds in creating a new form of life. This new creature grows in intelligence until it finally escapes his laboratory where it starts attacking humans.

In his first starring role, Steve McQueen plays a typical oversexed, car-lovin' highschooler who can't get anyone to believe his story about a huge meteor, which crashes to earth and begins exuding a pink, gooey substance. Affixing itself to the body of an old man, the "blob" begins parasitically sucking the life out of several unfortunate humans, growing to an enormous size. Problem is, the disappearances of the victims can all be explained (one is supposed to be out of town, another is attending a convention), so the cops still won't believe McQueen or his girlfriend Aneta Corsaut (the future Helen Crump of The Andy Griffith Show). Rallying his teen pals, McQueen finally manages to get the adults attention but by now, the Blob is consuming entire city blocks.
Neurosurgeon, Rock Star, Superhero Buckaroo Banzai has perfected the oscillation overthruster, which allows him to travel through solid matter by using the eighth dimension. The Red Lectroids from Planet 10 are after this device for their own evil ends. It's up to Buckaroo and his band and crime fighting team, The Hong Kong Cavaliers, to stop them.
