Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved fellow worker and Apphia our sister, and Archippus our fellow soldier, and the church in your house: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.
Accordingly, though I am bold enough in Christ to command you to do what is required, yet for love's sake I prefer to appeal to you—I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner also for Christ Jesus, I appeal to you for my child, Onesimus, whose father I became in my imprisonment. (Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.) I am sending him back to you, sending my very heart. I would have been glad to keep him with me, in order that he might serve me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel, but I preferred to do nothing without your consent in order that your goodness might not be by compulsion but of your own accord.
For this perhaps is why he was parted from you for a while, that you might have him back forever, no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother—especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
So if you consider me your partner, receive him as you would receive me. If he has wronged you at all or owes you anything, charge that to my account. I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it—to say nothing of your owing me even your own self.

If someone handed you real and fake money, could you spot the counterfeit? Maybe you can't but bank employees need to know the difference. Now, in order to know the truth, you must be able to identify the deception, and it is the same with Christianity when compared to all other religions.
If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, you must have faith that the disciples wrote down a true account in the New Testament. The Bible describes Him as God, the Creator, and the Messiah who came to earth in the form of a man to be the payment for sin.
The New Testament is filled with His stories and teachings showing us how to be saved and walk in righteousness. The New Testament was written in Greek, but can you trust the men who translated the Bible into the English language? This is where faith in God and the working of the Holy Spirit comes into play. Without some sort of divine revelation, you must accept the New Testament by faith or it will have no meaning for you.

Imagine that you have the chance to earn a large sum of money by carefully following a set of instructions. There is just one problem, they are written in a language you cannot read. After searching around you find two translators who are willing to help you in this endeavor. The first will translate the words as directly as possible from the first language to yours. It will be up to you to read the result carefully and follow it.
The second translator will go one step further and render a translation which describes his best understanding of how the author wanted you to carry out the instructions. Written as a paraphrase, it will be easy to read and follow. There is just one catch, you have to trust that his understanding of how it should be done agrees with what the author intended, or you will fail and end up with nothing!

The Bible is quite an interesting book, for there aren't many books that are divided in half so clearly. Many versions of the Bible are printed with only the New Testament, and tens of millions of people don't even have the Old Testament translated into the mother tongue yet.

This video looks into the origins of why we had kings and have governments and how in seeking this, the Israelites turned their back on God. We see the results then and now and I have to ask "Why do we treat our government like God?"
Video Description: To many, the origin of the Bible can be summed-up as follows: "A mere translation of a translation of an interpretation of an oral tradition" - and therefore, a book with no credibility or connection to the original texts. Actually, the foregoing statement is a common misunderstanding of both Christians and non-christians alike. Translations such as the King James Version are derived from existing copies of ancient manuscripts such as the Hebrew Masoretic Text (Old Testament) and the Greek Textus Receptus (New Testament), and are not translations of texts translated from other interpretations. The primary differences between today's Bible translations are merely related to how translators interpret a word or sentence from the original language of the text source (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek).
Origin of the Bible - The Reliability of Ancient Manuscripts
Another challenge against the origin of the Bible is the reliability of the manuscripts from which today's Bibles are translated. Remarkably, there is widespread evidence for absolute reliability. There are more than 14,000 existing Old Testament manuscripts and fragments copied throughout the Middle East, Mediterranean and European regions that agree dramatically with each other. In addition, these texts agree with the Septuagint version of the Old Testament, which was translated from Hebrew to Greek some time during the 3rd century BC. The Dead Sea Scrolls, discovered in Israel in the 1940's and 50's, also provide phenomenal evidence for the reliability of the ancient transmission of the Jewish Scriptures (Old Testament) before the arrival of Jesus Christ. The Hebrew scribes who copied the Jewish Scriptures dedicated their lives to preserving the accuracy of the holy books. These scribes went to phenomenal lengths to insure manuscript reliability. They were highly trained and meticulously observed, counting every letter, word and paragraph against master scrolls. A single error would require the immediate destruction of the entire text.
The manuscript evidence for the New Testament is also dramatic, with over 5,300 known copies and fragments in the original Greek, nearly 800 of which were copied before 1000 AD. Some manuscript texts date to the early second and third centuries, with the time between the original autographs and our earliest existing copies being a remarkably short 60 years. Interestingly, this manuscript evidence far surpasses the manuscript reliability of other ancient writings that we trust as authentic every day. Look at these comparisons: Julius Caesar's "The Gallic Wars" (10 manuscripts remain, with the earliest one dating to 1,000 years after the original autograph); Pliny the Younger's "History" (7 manuscripts; 750 years elapsed); Thucydides' "History" (8 manuscripts; 1,300 years elapsed); Herodotus' "History" (8 manuscripts; 1,300 years elapsed); Sophocles (193 manuscripts; 1,400 years); Euripides (9 manuscripts; 1,500 years); and Aristotle (49 manuscri

Last one of this series, and overall my favorite episode. I like how this Jonah banters with God about people of Niniva. There is lesson in this story. of repentance for sinners. and obedience to those who already follow the Father's Way. Enjoy!
Artstyle wise, this one is my favorite. Episode abbreviates history of Daniel significantly and adds antagonist in the form of court magus. I must say I disagree strongly with statements said by that Israeli woman in the beginning. Israel didn't come out unchanged out of Babylonian captivity. They got their otiot (letters of alephbet) switched into square script. Also they took on many of the idolatrous behaviors and traditions from Babylonians.
Arguably the most badass prophet of God. Also an opera singer apparently.
David is not even ginger in this version. Too bad, At least Saul's voice actor nails his role as a demented, forsaken king.

This take is still more accurate than that rabbinic fanfiction in book of Jasher. The one wher Judah roars so hard he makes all women in egypt miscarry as a pre-emptive revenge for pharaoh's order of killing newborn Israelites. Look it up.
