Unfortunately this brings us to the end of this Halloween event. We couldn't finish the game in one sitting and with editing and rendering we couldn't really finish before Halloween. Hope you enjoyed so far! We will be finishing this, it just won't be posted on Halloween.
It's really tough to keep people alive in this game. Also the flame thrower guy is one of the main writers for this game, Larry Fessenden. He has done horror movies for a long time, and a few really good ones. Also that one moment in the thumbnail really reminds me of Alan Wake.
Chase says he doesn't want to be a nancy naysayer but that never stops him. Maybe there's something more than Josh's shenanigans going on in these mines. Gotta say tho, Rami Malek really earned his paycheck in this one. The acting in this is pretty good overall actually. Jess is really good at barely getting these QTE prompts to the very last second.
Ashley and Chris continue their search for Sam. Sam should patent the towel of no falling. That or she just has fish hook nipples that keeps it up. Or barbed or something. Those are totally just anime sparkles in Emily's eyes in that one pic. This is definitely the best Saw game ever made.
Nine episodes in and we finally get to play with Matt and Emily for a while. I like how this game uses that Hollywood darkness, where everything is still well lit but the actors still have to act like everything is dark. Jess is starting to put it together, maybe this is a real life Scooby Doo situation. Also we get to watch Hayden Panettiere in just a towel for a while.
Uncovering the mystery of the sanitorium and the Blackwood Mines. All vampires are just draculas. If you find one that is a single dracula. Always remember to pet the dog. Jess was smart enough not to take the bait this time. Sorry about the sound in this one, I don't know what's up with it.
Looks like Chekov left his gun in the cabin there. I wish I had a cell phone that would just come back to you when you say a key phrase like Gizmoduck in Duck Tales. Jess definitely knows how to seduce a girl.
Jess almost got Jess killed. How did they know this mine would actually lead to the cabin? You heard it here folks, Jess says she will just live with any choices she makes. Todd Howard would disapprove of my views on mods probably. Can't say Ouija Board because that's a brand name. Finally, Jess actually basically predicts the game in this episode, blink and you'll miss it!
Jess trying to instill some confidence with Chris. Gotta turn him into a ladies man before this night is over. Rami Malek makes for a terrible John Wayne. Three episodes in and there's already a cat fight.
More characters arrive. The creepiness starts to set in. We also figure out which is the best Jess. Also there were some glitches in the recording files so part of this I had to re-record from VLC so some parts will be a little washed out unfortunately.
This game is pretty good. Jess wanted to try and post all these episodes on one day so that's what I will attempt to do. Pretty good opening setup and a lot of character introductions in this episode. I actually like most of the characters in this.
