Published 16 November.

KingOfSpades sits down to play and review Assassin Valhalla on Xbox X.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to the 2018 game Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Set in 873 AD, the game recounts a fictional story during the Viking invasion of Britain. The player controls Eivor, a Viking raider who becomes embroiled in the conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order.

The game was released on November 10, 2020, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Stadia, while the PlayStation 5 version came out on November 12. The game received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the graphics and story, but criticized its technical issues and lack of innovation.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Set in the 9th century, the player controls Eivor, a Viking raider and Assassin during the Viking invasion of Britain. The game is scheduled for release in late 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, and is to be Ubisoft's launch title for the next-generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

In Valhalla, the player takes on the role of Eivor, a Viking raider who leads their fellow Vikings from Norway in raids and battles against King Aelfred and the four Anglo-Saxon medieval kingdoms of England – Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia – near the end of the 9th century as part of the Viking invasion of Britain. Additionally, the game will continue to tie into the modern-day events related Abstergo Industries' researcher Layla Hassan, who was featured in both Origins and Odyssey, and to the Templars and Assassins that have tied the series together.

Players will have the choice of playing Eivor as either male or female and are further able to select their hair, warpaint, clothing and armor. Combat has been changed to allow dual wielding of almost any weapon. The "Eagle Eye" mechanics are also expected to return in the form of a raven that will be Eivor's animal companion in the game. The player can use the raven to scout the nearby areas as previous avian companions had done in Origins and Odyssey. The game will rely less on a traditional leveling system and instead focus more on the selection of skills through skill trees selected by the player as Eivor advances through the game. Enemies will be rated based on the collection of skills. The skills trees will be similar to those found in The Witcher, Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Player choices through conversation or gameplay options will have impacts on the characters and their political alliances with other non-player characters.

A central feature of the game is the settlement that the player, as Eivor, will help build and lead during the game. Ismail described its importance as "a lot of what you're doing in the game world is, at the end of the day, going to feed into the settlement so that it can grow, it can flourish." The player will be able to direct construction of certain types of buildings which in turn provide benefits for gameplay. To build these structures, the player will need to lead the vikings on raids to collect resources. Naval combat will return, though more as a means of faster medium for travel for performing such raids, and for escaping after land combat, rather than in engagement with other naval vessels.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla walkthrough chapter 2 part 2 - Rude Awakening quest includes the full gameplay from part 2 of the second campaign mission plus where the throwing axe fury ability is that I discovered while playing. This includes the location of a book of knowledge behind Nottfall in Rygjafylke, the first region in the game.

Sigurd, the adopted brother of Eivor, returns to Fornburg. Kjotve's scouts sneak into Fornburg where we discover and stop them. We launch a counter assault against on of Kjotve's strong holds and the location of the book of knowledge. The final portion of this gameplay is meeting King Harald.

This series will follow Eivor through his adventures, where ever that may lead.

In AD 873, war and overcrowding in Norway prompts Eivor and their brother Sigurd to lead their clan of Vikings to settle new lands in Anglo-Saxon England,as part of the Viking expansion across Europe. The clan comes into conflict with the kingdoms of Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia over the next several years, as well as the warring sons of the legendary Viking warrior Ragnar Lothbrok, who made up the Great Heathen Army. Eivor's clan will face forces led by the leaders of these kingdoms, including Alfred the Great, the king of Wessex. It is during this time that Eivor meets the Hidden Ones and joins their fight against the Order of the Ancients. Explorable cities include Winchester, London, and York. Parts of Norway will also be included.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla walkthrough part 2 or chapter 2 - A Seer's Solace quest includes the full gameplay from the second campaign mission plus the first mystery I discovered while playing. This includes where to find Eyvind (the outpost deserter) and a small sleep walking journey located outside of Fornburg in Rygjafylke region of this game world.

We are given a potion in Valk's (a seer) hut outside of Fornburg. This brings on a vision quest where we see the Nornir, Odin, and Sigurd. A wolf leads us down a path to the fates weaving everybody's life strands and across the river to Odin's hall.

Damals wie heute!
erstes Lied: Lunikoff/Landser
zweites Lied: Kategorie C

Keywords: Römer Germanen Varusschlacht Teutoburger Wald Geschichte Germania Freiheit Germany Roman
Kampf gegen Globalismus

In the North endless forests , where the spirits of the dead dwell in swamps and foggy bogs is the grave of the legions. Softly falls the rain, the wind sweeps over the battlefield , their standards are broken,
Rome's pride it fell there.

Hermann's battle! Hermann's battle! 2000 years Germanic power!
Hermann's battle! Hermann's battle! 2000 years Germanic power!

Our free Germania they wanted to suppress , but now they saw the fire at night on distant mountains' backs. And they heard German songs - they become slowly fearful , because they knew these songs are the songs of their grave.

Hermann's battle! Hermann's battle! 2000 years Germanic power!
Hermann's battle! Hermann's battle! 2000 years Germanic power!

Victory or Valhalla!

Aufrecht erhalten, bist gut eingelebt

Valhalla: Propaganda to Manipulate the Minds of Viking Warriors? 3-Minute History - Valhalla, meaning the hall of slain warriors, is one of the most famous depictions of the afterlife in history. For Vikings, Valhalla was paradise, taking the form of a great hall of warriors led by Odin, the Norse god of war and poetry. For those warriors valiant enough to be accepted into Valhalla, it was a magical place where they could feast and fight until Ragnarök (or Doomsday) came, when they would leave the great hall and fight with Odin against giants and demons…

In-between the battlefield and reaching Valhalla however, were the Valkyries, supernatural female beings who decided who died in battle, and subsequently, which warriors would be taken to Valhalla. The fact that Valkyries were often depicted as being female speaks to a crucial question: was the mythology taught to Viking warriors merely a way for Viking rulers to produce brave fighters who had no fear of death?

For young, aggressive men, the idea of female, goddess-like creatures selecting the most valiant warriors was an attractive one, and an effective way for the elite to produce a strong warrior culture and expand their power (Bensel 2008: 386). In fact, some Viking kings reportedly paid poets to promote the warrior mentality and the glory of dying bravely in battle.

The strategy of using poets to glamorize the afterlife for warriors was not invented by the Vikings however. The ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, even discussed this in his book, The Republic, written around 2,400 years ago. Plato writes that in order to produce brave men who do not fear death, poets should be controlled and asked to “stop giving their present gloomy account of the afterlife, which is both untrue and unsuitable to produce a fighting spirit, and make them speak more favourably of it” (Plato 2007: 77).

The promotion of Valhalla and other aspects of Norse mythology in Viking culture can be seen, in part, as a way to make death more desirable than tragic.

Track 5 of 9 from the album “NÍU: Blood of the Amali (Ásaland Metal Cut)” — Battle of Brávellir is a song inspired by the legendary battle at Brávellir which took place in the southeast of Sweden in the 600s or 700s CE. Remarkably, the battle was one of honor and wasn’t based on aggression. For what reason then?

The Danish King, Harald Wartooth (Haraldr hilditǫnn in Old Norse), had realized he was growing old and might die of age and not go to Valhalla. Hence, King Harald set out to arrange a battle to ensure his own death would be glorious. Harald had inherited Sweden (Svíþjóð in Old Norse), an area he didn’t rule directly, from his maternal grandfather Ivar Vidfamne. King Harald did however, directly rule Denmark and the eastern half of Gautland (today Östergötland, not part of Svíþjóð at the time.) In contrast, Harald’s vassal king, Sigurd Hring (Sigurðr Hringr in Old Norse), with whom Harald was on “friendly” terms with, was the ruler of Sweden and western Gautland (Västergötland.) Thus, King Harald reached out to his Swedish Vassal and asked if he would let him leave life — gloriously — in a great battle.

According to Danish chronicler Saxo Grammaticus, both sides prepared for war for seven years and mustered armies of 200 000 men. Whole forests were chopped down to build three thousand longships for transport. Harald’s Danes built so many ships they could walk across the sound between Denmark and Sweden.

At first, the two armies fought collectively, but after a while, one of King Harald’s heroes became the center of attention. The Danish hero slew first the Wise Counselor of King Sigvard, and also three Swedish princes of the royal dynasty. Humbled, Sigurd sent forth his own champion, who managed to wound King Harald’s attacking hero but was himself even more seriously injured. Harald’s hero then killed another champion of Sigurd and the Swedes by taking his sword in both hands and slashing a path through the Swedish army until the Danish warrior finally fell — riddled with arrows from archers of Telemark (in Norway.) Shortly thereafter, a shieldmaiden fighting for the Danish side killed another Swedish champion. Raging furiously, another hero of Sigurd ran forth to the Danish army, killing warriors all around him, and cutting off the arm of a shieldmaiden that held a Danish banner. Sigurd’s champion then proceeded to kill four of Harald’s best warriors.

Harald had observed the heroic deeds, as he stood on his knees in his war chariot — with one sword in each hand — and killed a great many warriors. After a while, Harald’s steward Bruni determined his King had amassed enough glory, and crushed Harald’s skull with a club.

Sigurd Ring won the battle and became the sovereign ruler of Sweden and Denmark. According to Grammaticus’ writings, 40,000 warriors had died.

Historians agree the Battle of Brávellir cannot be confirmed — nor denied.

This thousands of years old knowledge about the true origin of all is now reaching more and more masses in these times of lie and deceit. Told by Jim Chesnar here who knew Ior Bock closely.

The Bock Saga is the story of mankind as passed down through the generations of the Bock family, the Finnish family of Ior Bock whom, according to him, was the keeper of an ancient oral tradition that sheds light on the heathen culture of Finland and its history.

It begins with the first two people dwelling on this earth and ends with the untimely and tragic death of Ior Bock in 2010. It covers a huge time span and an enormous number of events have taken place since then. The Bock Saga narrates this all in great detail. It is, in short, an enormous story…

Ior Bock told that, from the age of seven to the age of 27, he had been educated on the Bock Saga by his mother, Rhea, and her sister Rachel Boxström. He would have to sit for two hours every day and listen to his mother and aunt relating the Saga. He was not allowed to say a single word; he could only listen. The two storytellers were very strict taskmasters. If, for some reason, a day was skipped, the listening time would be doubled on the following day. Needless to say, this all happened at the expense of the young Ior’s formal schooling.

And in this way, the family story of the Saga was passed on from his mother and aunt to Ior over the course of 20 years. Rhea and Rachel, in turn, heard it from their father and their father’s sister, who got it from their parents, and so on. The family tradition was to educate the children in the Bock Saga, passing it on orally for countless generations.

Oral traditions have the unfortunate reputation of not being trustworthy, because when passed on they slightly change, so that over long periods of time a story can change considerably. The Saga differs in that it lays on top of what is called the “sound system”, which is similar to a mathematical matrix that controls what is true and what is not in the Saga. This particular matrix is formed by the Root language, a language in which every sound has a meaning and a mark. All syllables, words and sentences are combinations of these building blocks of meaningful sounds.

Since the meaning of the sounds are fixed and cannot be altered, the Saga can be passed on to the next generation without any changes in its purest form. Just as mathematics is the language in which the natural cohesion between numbers is described and can be thus passed on, so is the Root language the natural means of describing the Bock Saga.

I do not own the rights to this movie.

I am sharing this as a great modern piece for children to get some insight in the stories of our Folk. It features the tale of Thor and Utgardsloki in a variant form which though it deviates a little from the original it still maintains much of it and is worth the watch. I am happy to be able to provide it for viewing and download in English after searching for some time since it is not available anymore. Enjoy!
