The most predictable aspect surrounding the FBI whistleblower testimony in front of the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government was the Democrat’s refusal to accept the critical implications of the repercussions experienced by the FBI whistleblowers.
However, unexpectedly, an FBI whistleblower admitted that the Washington Field Office wouldn’t turn over January 6th video because they had undercover officers infiltrating the staged insurrection.
Of course the mockingbird media weighed in to protect the wall of propaganda surrounding the mountains of corruption now rotting in the noon day sun after the neutered Durham revelations.
It makes anyone ask. What the hell are we doing? Do we actually have a government anymore?
The FBI made 278,000 illegal searches under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) database to target suspects of the January 6 riot, George Floyd protesters, victims of crimes, and donors of a congressional candidate, according to a recently unsealed court document.
In recent years, the FBI has come under fire from lawmakers and activists for abusing the Section 702 database to search for the communications of Americans without a warrant. The bureau has claimed it has implemented procedure changes to reduce noncompliance with the rules governing searching the database.
The FBI is only supposed to search the database if an agent is sure they will get evidence of a crime or get information relevant to foreign intelligence.
In the recently unsealed opinion, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court threatened to take action if the FBI doesn’t improve compliance. The court found almost 300,000 cases of noncompliance between 2020 and early 2021.
In the opinion, Judge Rudolph Contreas said that the court was “encouraged by the amendments to the FBI’s querying procedures.
“Nonetheless, compliance problems with the querying of Section 702 information have proven to be persistent and widespread. If they are not substantially mitigated by these recent measures, it may become necessary to consider other responses, such as substantially limiting the number of FBI personnel with access to unminimized Section 702 information,” he added.
In June 2020, at the height of the George Floyd protests and riots, the FBI queried the database for the communications of 133 protesters who were arrested. The FBI argued that it was reasonable to assume that the searches would return foreign intelligence information.
At around the same time, an analyst made 656 queries to look for derogatory information to coerce people to be informants. The court said the agency had no reason to believe that they would get the information they were looking for.
Between 2016 and 2020, the court said that agents made searches about “individuals listed in police homicide reports, including victims, next-of-kin, witnesses, and suspects.” It was a violation of the rules “because there was no reasonable basis to expect they would return foreign intelligence or evidence of crime,” The Washington Post reported.
Following the January 6 riot by former President Donald Trump supporters, an FBI employee searched the database 23,132 times on US citizens “to find evidence of possible foreign influence, although the analyst conducting the queries had no indications of foreign influence related to the query term used.” That was also a violation as there was no factual basis to expect the searches would produce evidence of crime or foreign intelligence.

💭 FBI Whistleblower Garrett O’Boyle Ends Hearing with Chilling Warning on FBI Tyranny and Abuse
The House Weaponization Committee held a hearing Thursday on Capitol Hill. Three government whistleblowers from the FBI testified before Congress on Thursday morning.
On Wednesday Chris Wray’s FBI revoked the security clearances of three agents who espoused questioned the aggressive tactics by the FBI in targeting Trump supporters , conservatives, and pro-Life Americans, according to a letter the FBI sent the subcommittee on Wednesday.
FBI agents Marcus Allen, Garrett O’Boyle, and Steve Friend had already been suspended for questioning the agency’s handling of the January 6 case and stating their beliefs that the FBI has been weaponized against conservatives.
Democrats on the Committee ran interference for the FBI. The Democrat members were openly hostile to the witnesses and attacking them continuously.
At the end of the Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) asked witness and FBI whistleblower Garrett O’Boyle if he would advise his colleagues to come forward. Agent O’Boyle offered this dire assessment.
Garrett O’Boyle: I would tell them first to pray about it long and hard. And I would tell them I could take it to Congress for them, or I could put them in touch with Congress, but I would advise them not to do it… The FBI will crush you. This government will crush you and your family if you try to expose the truth about things that they are doing that are wrong.
The FBi took O’Boyle’s income and his security clearance after he spoke out about the FBI targeting parents at school board meetings.
The FBi needs to make a choice. They can be the FBI or the Stasi. But they can’t be both.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that 2018 is a uniquely worrying moment in America’s great, clamorous experiment with representative government. And you wouldn’t be entirely wrong. Loose talk of a “deep state” seeking to undermine the Trump administration and its allies has entered the political mainstream. Outlandish as the charge might be, we shouldn’t be surprised: Conspiratorial thinking has long had a grip on American politics, and warping effects.
This is the story of one such example, now largely forgotten. It is about an arch-conservative congressman, Larry McDonald, who became a leader of the New Right, founded his own private intelligence agency and died at the hands of his geopolitical nemesis, all while in office. McDonald was a militant cold warrior and talented zealot who built his own mini-deep state—a foundation that worked with government and law enforcement officials to collect and disseminate information about supposed subversives.
The tale of Representative Larry McDonald might be the weirdest, most unbelievable one in modern American politics that you’ve never heard.
It isn’t entirely without precedent. “Private spy rings can be traced back all the way to the 1920s,” says Darren Mulloy, a professor of history at Wilfrid Laurier University and an expert on radical political and social movements, “or even back to [Allan] Pinkerton’s detective agency at the end of the 19th century.” The tradition picked up during the 1950s, Mulloy says, reportedly with the likes of anticommunist groups like the American Security Council and the John Birch Society.
Such groups “perpetuated conspiracies by gathering so-called intelligence in an effort to discredit people to try and link them to grand and dastardly schemes,” Seth Rosenfeld, author of Subversives: The FBI's War on Student Radicals, and Reagan’s Rise to Power, told me. “So, whether it was a communist conspiracy then, or a ‘deep state’ plot now, these are attempts to undermine people who are dissenting from the powers of the moment.”
It was from this earlier era that McDonald emerged. But in his Cold War story are many lessons for our own age—about the dangers of obsession, and our national obsession over danger.
