On this episode cousin Beau takes a shot at his first deer, and we learn a hard lesson about "Jumping the string"

Looks like the DIY feeder I hung up is working well. I have a nice group of Does and fawns moving through the area consistently even during daylight.

As Owen was setting up a new blind he heard two bucks locked up and had to try to free them.

Last week I set up 1 of 2 Ameristep Brickhouse pop up blinds. This one is just North of the "Bush League Blind DIY" I set up - https://www.bitchute.com/video/QQzughvVNFtc/

In this video I run through why I chose where I chose to put it, as well as some deer patterning chart I put to together to help me to determine best window (AM or PM) for bucks, and when I have a good access window. Watch and find out, I can go more into that table/chart if requested in another video. The second blind video I may not put up as it could be a bit redundant, however I will let you know how both of these blinds perform this season.

I set this camera up late June 2020 just off a heavy trail. I made to mock scrapes, it appears the bucks are interested. They come about 5 feet off the main trail just to much on the willows I bent down and check out the scrapes I made.

Since then we have moved the camera, to see why click the previous link for a detailed walk through an commentary.

Looks like got buck passing through we became familiar with last year. As well as the doe we though recently fawned shows up with her new baby.

This camera I set up in the south end of the bush on the East Quarter Section to see when and where the deer were entering in.

We scouted this spot in the Bow Season Vlog - https://www.bitchute.com/video/MwaCUauf6PDh/

Looks like it panned out, everything from moose, bucks, to extra shots of the grown up coyote pups. Enjoy!

Here is a trial ground blind I put together. The two Ameristep blinds I have are $200+, they look great. But if they don't last this year I want an option that is;

A) Portable
B) Won't cost an arm and leg.

So here is something I put together. I will keep you informed on how it works out this year.

This spot gets me less decent footage than I like, the WildGame Innovation cameras trigger late on deer going by, and are set off constantly by the wind & the grass. This time we has 1300 videos and limited wild life pictures, from the sign in the scrapes (Hoove prints, nibbled branches, etc.) they are coming through more than I think the camera shows, the wind just triggers the camera too often. I will likely set my blind up between this camera and the one further south, see 2:40 of this video for the mapping - https://www.bitchute.com/video/cZ8ysghnY6Wx/

Looks like we got some new friends too, Enjoy!

For those that may not know what is living in their backyard. I'll identify the animals in mine, by their tracks and help you figure out what's in yours.

Saw a couple young bucks playin, so I stuck a camera out a living room window and shot this short video clip. They're about 80 yards away, according to the range finder.

Join me on an adventure up the cabin to check game camera footage. We have a fire, fly the drone, cook some food, and have some laughs. We cant wait for the weather to break so we can start getting out on the water! Enjoy the video!
