Original Source: https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/TM6WKeZ43s4 (Tom Bilyeu) "Wim Hof, also known as The Iceman, is the holder of over 26 world records. He has climbed the majority of Mt. Everest wearing nothing but shorts and shoes. He’s stayed immersed in ice for 1 hour, 13 minutes and 48 seconds. And while many have claimed that he is some kind of genetic freak, he is silencing critics everywhere by teaching regular people his unique breathing and cold exposure methods so that they too can enjoy the same powers as the Iceman himself." I made this video for personal use and thought to share. Bear in mind 𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, this is a Wim Hof guided meditation, I just added ocean waves for a more relaxing experience. 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐭𝐭𝐩𝐬://𝐰𝐰𝐰.𝐰𝐢𝐦𝐡𝐨𝐟𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝.𝐜𝐨𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Before you proceed, watch Wim's tutorial: https://www.bitchute.com/video/5wbUtVy0dTJe/. This session has 5 rounds with breath holds of 2 minutes between rounds, for me the most comfortable. You can either lie down and just listen or sit down and watch the waves roll as you breath, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 ' 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭', 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐠𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧.

" The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine is awarded yearly by the Nobel Foundation for outstanding discoveries in the fields of life sciences and medicine. This year, the prize was awarded to a group of researchers for their study into how cells detect oxygen and react to hypoxia. For many years, Wim has been trying to get this message out there and there seems to be more and more evidence everyday. We'd like to congratulate and thank these researchers for their achievements! "

- When you are a beginner, don't overdo it, you might experience (muscle) pain around chest, neck and shoulders. Take it easy and build up.
- Don't do this when your stomach is full
- Sit or lie down, don't do this during any activity
- After the breath-hold you take a deep breath in and hold for 15 seconds normally, but if you feel like holding the in-breath longer, that is OK too.
- preferable breathe in strongly through the nose with some resistance for more oxygen uptake, out through the mouth no force
- The deeper you get to breath, the better you will feel. The same goes for the amount of rounds: I need five rounds for the best effect
- The best time of the day: morning before you get out of bed, and evening before sleep.
- During the day it is a great way to breathe away any feelings of anxiety, stress etc.

Breathe to improve health by preventing oxidative stress. I decided to be disciplined and do this everyday. In my case I need to improve sleep, and this helps if you can get to do it routinely. The one I use daily consists of 5 rounds with 2 min. breath holds in between: https://www.bitchute.com/video/ogFDCXNggXYX/

Hof was born in Sittard, Limburg, Netherlands as one of nine children, (in order of birth; Rob [1954], John [1955], Marianne [1957], Wim and Andre [1959-identical twins], Ruud [1961], Ed [1962], Marcel [1964], Jacqueline [1967]) Hof has six children, four of them with his first wife Marivelle-Maria (Also called "Olaya"), who died by suicide in 1995,[6] a son, born in 2003 to his girlfriend, and a son born in 2017 to his last girlfriend. When he was 17 he felt a sudden urge to jump into the freezing cold water of the Beatrixpark canal. Hof has said that his sadness over the loss of his first wife was formative in leading him to develop techniques to face low temperature environments.

Wim Hof Method

Wim Hof markets a regimen, the Wim Hof Method (WHM), created alongside his son Enahm Hof. The method involves three "pillars": cold therapy, breathing and meditation. It has similarities to Tibetan Tummo meditation and pranayama, both of which employ breathing techniques.

Breathing

There are many variations of the breathing method. The basic version consists of three phases as follows:

Controlled breathing: The first phase involves 30-40 cycles of breathing. Each cycle goes as follows: take a deep breath in, fully filling the lungs. Breathe out by passively releasing the breath, but not forcefully. Repeat this cycle at a steady pace thirty to forty times. Hof says that this form of hyperventilation may lead to tingling sensations or light-headedness.

Breath retention: After completion of the 30-40 cycles of controlled hyperventilation, take a final deep breath in, and let it out. Do not fully empty the lungs; instead let the air out until you would need to contract your diaphragm to expel more air. Hold the breath until you feel an urge to breathe again (1 to 3 minutes).

Recovery breath: When a strong urge to breathe occurs, take a full deep breath in. Hold the breath for around 15 to 20 seconds and let it go. The body may experience a normal head-rush sensation.

These three phases may be repeated for three or more consecutive rounds.

Wim Hof, AKA the “Ice Man” holds the world record for the longest ice bath, lasting over 1 hour and 52 minutes, and 20 other world records for feats performed while withstanding the cold.

He has climbed Mount Everest and Mount Kilimanjaro in just shorts and shoes.

His Method enables him to control his core body temperature and immune system, and can be learned by anyone.

Wim's ultimate goals are to end all disease; to facilitate a paradigm shift towards health; to promote care for our planet; and to bring back love and happiness for all people by encouraging them to get in touch with the cold.

He plans to do this all, under the scrutiny of science.
