🍄🍃🎄 Homemade Buckram & Interfacing 🍄🍃🎄
This video will teach you how to make buckram from a variety of pieces of fabric, which you can often use from your fabric scraps or leftovers. Buckram is a type of rigid, heavy interfacing used in the making of hats, through a craft named Millinery, although this method can also be used to make interfacing for regular sewing projects, for clothes for example or even bags.
"But why do this at home when I may buy them, instead?"
Because many times buckram isn't in stock at all, due to the fact that Millinery is only recently starting to make a comeback in both Europe and the United States, which means the stock of buckram is either hard to find or bought rather quickly. In either case, you're left with no buckram at all or a more expensive buckram you could make at home for a fraction of the price!
And a little fun fact for you: back in the olden times, buckram would've been made with several different types of fabric glues, ranging from gum arabic to tragacanth gum or even animal derived glues, such as from rabbits or other animals. So, try to adapt in whatever way you must! This isn't hard and might be the difference between being able to finish a project or not!

Basically, I explain how I made a neat piece of model.
Based off of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40.000, the piece in question is meant to be a helmet of an Emperor's Chosen.
Those are elite melee fighters from the Black Templar chapter.
Really pleased with the way this piece turned out to be!
