Against a background of Christmas and the pending arrival of another baby for the landlord, a group of pub locals lead by bookie Joe Harris set out to prove that former customer Eddie Graves is not guilty of the murder for which he is due to be hanged in the morning.

Yield to the Night is a 1956 British crime drama starring Diana Dors as a murderer sentenced to hang and spending her last days in the condemned cell in a British women's prison. The film received much positive critical attention, particularly for the unexpectedly skilled acting of Dors, who had previously been cast solely as a British version of the typical "blonde bombshell". The movie was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 1956 Cannes Film Festival.

Matt Stevens is the big man at high school. He sweats the students for protection money, acquires copies of tests for a fee, and has rigged the votes so he can beat Kelly in the election for student president. Aside from his anointed acolytes, Matt is almost universally despised. His parents are obscenely rich and spend their time traveling in Europe rather than giving him the parental guidance he needs. Things begin to get ugly when some of the teens resist his power and show Matt up at the drag race.

As his partner in crime, Fred Dorella, heads to the bank and tries to extort cash from executive Ken Wilson, Johnny Cabot (Johnny Cash) kidnaps Wilson's wife, Nancy. Fred tells Ken that, unless he hands over $70,000 in cash, Johnny will kill Nancy. Ken comes up with a ploy to buy some time for the police to assess the situation. Though the scheme is coming unstuck, Fred and Johnny aren't about to go quietly.

In this fact-based film, set in the early 1950s, British working class teens Derek Bentley and Chris Craig take to behaving like the film noir antiheroes they idolize, and Chris begins carrying a gun to look the part. Unfortunately, the boys have a run-in with a police officer that takes a tragic turn, and Derek and Chris end up on trial for murder. While Chris is still a minor and faces only a prison sentence, the older Derek will be put to death if he can't prove his innocence.

Controversial British drama film directed by Vernon Sewell and starring Donald Pleasence, Johnny Briggs and Ann Lynn. Taking its title from the famous "Wind of Change" speech given by British prime minister Harold Macmillan in South Africa in February 1960, it is one of the earliest British films to tackle race as an issue, focussing on disenchanted working-class white youth finding an outlet for their frustrations in racial hatred. The film is set around the coffee bars and homes of the Notting Hill district of
West London, scene of the notorious 1958 Notting Hill race riots.

It's 1958 in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn. High school friends David 'Chico' Tyrell, Stanley Rosiello, Butchey Weinstein and Wimpy Murgalo comprise a gang called the Lords. They are motorcycle driving, smoking, wisecracking, leather jacket and slicked back hair wearing troublemakers who often use their fists to solve the problems in their lives. One problem that Stanley is facing is that he and his girlfriend Frannie Malincanico need to get married. Stanley and Frannie's respective views of marriage are from their immature teen-aged perspectives. Also facing girl problems is Chico, who has a casual relationship with Frannie's best friend, Annie Yuckamanelli. That changes when WASP Jane Bradshaw transfers into their school. Chico, with a little help from his friends, does whatever he can to impress Jane, not always with success.

Johnny (Marlon Brando) and his motorcycle gang roll into Carbonville for a biker competition and raise enough hell to get kicked out of town. They repair to nearby Wrightsville and continue their reign of terror. Lionel Meadows (Peter Sellers) is a London garage owner who makes extra cash dealing in stolen cars. Meadows buys log books from scrapped models, then has other cars corresponding to the log books stolen and the number plates replaced. He gives a list of the latest batch to young petty thief Tommy Towers (Adam Faith), which includes a 1959 Ford Anglia. The car Tommy steals belongs to struggling cosmetics salesman John Cummings (Richard Todd), who needs the car to keep his job. Also, he did not insure the car against theft and becomes desperate to recover it.
Put onto Tommy by a street newspaper vendor, Alfie (Mervyn Johns), who witnessed the crime, Cummings starts investigating the activities of Meadows and his associate Cliff (David Lodge). Meadows, disturbed by his inquiries, brutalizes Alfie, who then commits suicide...

Tom Yately (Stanley Baker) is an ex-convict who takes a job as a construction-supply trucker. He soon befriends Lucy (Peggy Cummins) and Gino (Herbert Lom), who help him adjust to the fast-paced, competitive nature of the dangerous job. Red (Patrick McGoohan), the company foreman, encourages the truckers to drive as fast as possible in order to complete more trips, while he pockets the extra money. Yately finds himself torn between beating Red's driving record and exposing his crooked schemes.

This British 'film noir' tells of the exploits of a 16-year-old youth Roy Walsh (James Kenney), who is already on probation, and his gang in post-World War II London. Amongst the bomb-sites and dark alleys, Roy and his gang of juvenile delinquents waylay and rob old ladies.
Later, Roy becomes infatuated with Rene (a very young Joan Collins), the sister of one of the gang members, but already having a boyfriend, Brian. She rejects Roy, to his fury so later the gang beats up Brian. Roy menaces Rene, who eventually submits to him. When she informs him that he has made her pregnant and urges him to marry her, he decides he wants nothing more to do with her....

Paula Parkins, the spoiled daughter of a well-to-do newspaper editor father and a socialite mother, gets her kicks by organizing and directing a gang of bored young women like herself. The gang dresses in men's attire, robs gas stations, and terrorizes habitués of a local lovers' lane—even raping a young gentleman (off camera) after tying up his girlfriend.
As a newspaperman, Paula's father has some inside information on police plans to capture the gang, so the girls are able to avoid capture with Mr. Parkins' unwitting complicity.

The body of a young woman is found stabbed on Hampstead Heath. Although appearing to be white, when her brother (Earl Cameron) arrives at the police station to give evidence, the officers see that he is black and that she must be mixed-race too. Her brother confirms that they were the children of a white father and a black mother, but Sapphire has recently been passing for white.[5] Sapphire's white boyfriend, a student, immediately becomes the chief suspect. He is followed by plain clothes police and seen acting suspiciously around the crime-scene. The discovery in the police post mortem that Sapphire was 3 months pregnant is an added complication. As the investigation proceeds other, surprisingly colourful aspects of Sapphire's social life bring further suspects to light.

A sleazy gangster has a gang of young girls commit robberies and prostitution for him by getting them hooked on drugs.

Ed Nelson (CARNIVAL ROCK) is the charismatic leader of a gang of young toughs that murders a security guard while ripping off a warehouse to the beat of jazz drummer Shelly Manne. The watchman’s son (Brinkley) and the investigating detective (the immortal Coleman Francis) know damn well Nelson, who drives a white Ford Thunderbird, is the culprit, but they have no proof. Thus, Brinkley takes the law into his own hands and infiltrates Nelson’s gang in order to get the goods.

Simon Wells, a middle-aged American tourist, is on a boating holiday off the south coast of England. He has recently divorced and left his career as an insurance executive. In Weymouth, he meets 20-year-old Joan, who lures him into a brutal mugging at the hands of King, her brother and his motorbike gang. The next day Joan defies her overprotective brother and joins Simon on his boat.

A mysterious drug pusher has infested the high school and a rash of students are getting hooked on heroin, among them Ray, star of the basketball team. The boy is found dead, having injected a lethal cocktail into his own veins.

Londoner Harry Fabian is a second-rate con man looking for an angle. After years of putting up with Harry's schemes, his girlfriend, becomes fed up when he taps her for yet another loan. His latest ploy, promoting an aging Greek wrestler, goes awry when the wrestler dies and everyone points the finger at Harry. Hiding out in a riverfront barge, Harry sees his grand ambitions spiral into a nightmare of fear and desperation as the underworld closes in.

A blonde actress is murdered across from a bar. An off-duty cop has been getting pleasantly sloshed, but becomes worried about his innocence when he finds out he was seen leaving the establishment with a blonde, but doesn't remember. As he investigates, he interviews a columnist who was going with the actress, a caricaturist who drew the victim, the caricaturist's wife who works at the bar, and the caricaturist's lover, and slowly begins to put the pieces of the deadly puzzle together.
