Bible Rednecks

The term redneck may not have been coined until the 19th century, but the idea has been around for much longer and is seen in similar terms like country bumpkin, hillbilly, hayseed, swamp rat, and so on.

Rednecks have a rural and agricultural focus. We spend lots of time outdoors: fishing, hunting, camping, hiking. We're comfortable with weapons and without the finest ammenities. We're often looked down upon as uneducated and scorned by “city slickers.” We're not afraid of hard work and content with the little things in life. We have an independent streak.

The Bible gives many example of rednecks.
