Four hours after this live facebook video, Nikos Stavrou was intubated.
Today, 1st June 2021 Nikos Stavrou passed away in Hippokrateio Hospital.
His wife is suing the hospital for homicide on purpose.

INTERNATIONAL COMPLAINT
Theodora Agridioti, 52 years old, is being hospitalized in Gennimatas General Hospital at Athens Greece. She was tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 (molecular test). Although it was requested, it wasn’t notified to her the number of cycles in which the virus was diagnosed. Neither was delivered to her the sample, in order to be examined by an independent laboratory. So it has not have been proved, that the positive result is reliable, and that Theodora Agridioti is indeed positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Regardless of that, after her initial hospitalization her oxygen’s index was excellent, without artificial supply (mechanical oxygen supply), and her general state of health quite satisfactory. That fact is confirmed by the private medical team who is monitoring her medical condition. The same team confirms, that she can continue her hospitalization at her home, under their medical surveillance. After that Mrs Agridioti asked to sign, in order to be released from the hospital, in her own responsibility. The Hospital denied her request, despite her will.
Obviously it is her absolute right to terminate her hospitalization and return to her home. The denial of the hospital to let her go, against her will, is a crystal clear violation of her human rights, as these rights are protected by International Conventions, the Greek Constitution and the article 327 of Greek Criminal Code.
On Tuesday, March 16th Mr Kardasis (mrs Agridioti companion) responding to her appeals for help, informed Holargos Police Department about the situation. The area of the hospital belongs in the responsibility of the above police department. The officer on duty, informed right away the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Athens. Unfortunately the prosecutor on duty continued the illegal detention saying to the police officer “that we will follow the doctors opinion“. Despite the fact that this opinion led to the ILLEGAL detention !!!
After that I personally went to Agios Stefanos Police Department and filed a lawsuit against the director of the hospital, the doctors in charge , for the crime of illegal detention. I also filed a lawsuit against the Prosecutor on duty for the crime of illegal detention by omission, as he has by his authority a legal obligation to lift the illegal detention. Despite the public appeals of Mrs Agridioti, appeals made possible through my page in social media especially my Facebook page, counting 110.000 followers, despite Mr Kardasis complaints, despite my own lawsuits against the hospital and the Prosecutor, nothing happened. In my posts in social media, I also condemned the “curious“ attitude of Chief Prosecutor of Supreme Court. Three days ago, I addressed him publicly about the whole incident and the illegal refusal of his colleague to lift the detention. Unfortunately Mrs Theodora Agridioti, despite all these, remains in a “hostage“ situation, deprived of her freedom, as a Free Human Being. In violation of the Greek Criminal Code, the Greek Constitution and International Conventions and Protocols. All these legal documents say one thing clearly. That it is her RIGHT to decide whether she will remain in the hospital or leave for her home.
Hereby I profoundly complain for the outrageous and criminal behavior of the before mentioned hospital. Unprecedented for a democratic country, a behavior against the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of the individual. This hospital has metamorphosed into a detention center for Mrs Agridioti. And the hospital’s illegal and unacceptable behavior is made possible by the tolerance of the Prosecutors and politicians who are in full knowledge of the whole situation.
Therefore I request the immediate intervention of all the Competent International Institutions.
