A Storm Journalist Reports from Florida on Hurricane Michael
Following is a series of videos during the beginning, intensification, and passing of Hurricane Michael shot on location approx 35-40 miles NE of Panama City, Florida and South of Marianna, Florida. Deadly Category 4+ Winds ravaged much of the Central Florida Panhandle.
During these videos I record my observations and comment on various aspects of going thru a major hurricane, safety precautions, and my thoughts. Please leave your comments below.
I went thru the western eyewall of Hurricane Michael on Wednesday, October 10th and took a series of short videos to document the increasing wind speed from inside my pickup truck. The entire duration of tropical and hurricane force winds from escalation to de-escalation was approx 5 hours.
