Programed from the ground up, running on Sega Saturn and powered by Powerslave, a fully three dimentional game engine, developed by legendary Lobotomy Software; In which thanks to, it now features, higher fidelity textures, spectacular out of this world dynamic lighting, and the smoothest performance one could wish for.
...by far, my favourite port of Duke 3D; Controls spectacularly well on a Saturn Pad (not so much, on an Xbox controller, but it's cool), sounds great and comes all packed up with some of the best most atmospheric music in the entire franchise; Drawback being, that there are only around 13 tracks or so... That sucks, given the outstanding quality of everything it has to offer.
Not only did Duke learn not to crash helicopters during his transition from the PC to the Sega Saturn; He's an open minded individual willing to give whole new experiences a try!

Second part of Toxic Dump; There a few levels in Saturn Duke that are divided in to two different sections; I'd guess that such might have had something to do with the new engine the game's running on, be it either a limitation of sorts, or due it's more advanced graphics capabilities when compared to BUILD.

Duke proceeds to kick some floppy freakazoid ass, causing massive explosions all over a dangerous rocket.
This is the Saturn version, though, and there are no exploding spaceships to entertain ourselves with; Which is quite unfortunate... but truth be told, the game had never looked so good, graphically speaking, and given that this version comes packed with and exclusively with coolest, darkest, most atmospheric ambience imaginable; I will let that one misstep, previously mentioned, slip through.

Couldn't resist going for some fun at The Abyss, but on Saturn, must vary to keep things fresh; What else can I add? Welp, the man's got a thing for high altitudes, and the ego to go along, and hey, look at it all in the brightest of sides; The level in hand, never looked so realistic before; Thank you, Lobotomy Software! You did well once more.

Out the subway, and on the surface, Duke faces a Fire Station, and goes on to fulfill his dream of becoming a temporary firefighter; Helps all them testosterone fueled firemen badasses clean all that burning hot n' messy extra terrestrial diarrhea wreckage; Proceeds afterwards to conker the world via Pirate Radio Station, givin' DJ Professor K a run for his money.
