Short movie with noise-food

Over mijn performance: Aangeschoten wild. (Tijdens Kerstmis, uit solidariteit met de dieren.) Electron, Breda.

About (mis)communication.

(Made in the nineties, when I was studying audio-visual arts).

At Knochenbox Berlin

Inviting the audience to throw tableware, which I had provided beforehand, against the wall.
In the meantime I was playing the Rauschmachine. I organised this happening because I know how liberating this can be. So much positive energy is released, which is amplified by the liberating loud clap against the wall. This throwing party took place at the Knochenbox in Berlin.

I am playing with a midicontroller connected to my computer, (where some open source software is running (Pure Data) with some patches with frequency modulation), while recording this video as well.

Videoclip made in and around my former sound-studio, playing with the Rauschmaschine and the first version of my Splashbox, which are both used in the soundtrack. This work has been a part of a sound-exhibition in Melbourne. All participants were asked to give the viewer a look into their sound-kitchen and the environment.

In this clip I am not playing my self-built instrument the Rauschmachine - which is based on resonance and vibration - as well as showing the force of sound itself.

Duet with vocalist Han Buhrs, improvising instantly in the moment, without having met each other, nor even talked before, using my live electronics. (Self-soldered electronic circuits and a synthesizer).
