A Beautiful Platformer! // Aurascope (Public Beta - v0.1.0) // GameJolt Featured Games

Aurascope is a promising indie platformer that I'd recommend for a quick play! Right now it's still early in development, as there is only one level. But this game already has a lot to offer, with much thought put into everything! The graphics are quite polished and charming. The mechanics that are introduced are creative and innovative. You may also be reminded of Mario by this game (which would make sense, as they made another fan game in the past - Super Mario: Power Star Frenzy).

Overall, Aurascope is a breath of fresh air in the platforming genre! There's a great start to what could be a great game here so it'd be a shame for this not to be continued. Right now, my only complaint is that it's too short. I hope to see more :D

*Note: As of this video, the game has been updated, so feel free to check it out and expect more than you see here! And I will play this game again sometime, I'm excited to see what's new after another year of development.*

Arctic Mario Adventures ❄️ // SuperTux [#1]

What better Mario clone on the PC is there than SuperTux? This game is a classic, in development for almost 20 years! And it features the Linux penguin himself, Tux. (So of course, this game can be played on Linux.)

I heard great things about this game, so we'll see how much Tux has to offer! This is just part 1 of what will probably be a longer let's play series. So far it's simple fun... not too challenging, but the levels are creative enough to keep me engaged. Feels like Mario, that's for sure!

Why I'm No Longer a SonicTuber... Less Sonic, More Variety! // VGFox Chats

Let's have another chat about the future of this channel. To be clear, I will not stop doing Sonic videos! There will just be less of 'em, because I overdid the Sonic content on this channel (the old state of it, anyways) and basically I got burnt out on him. Also, the community is sometimes not as welcoming as expected (ah well, that's any community though).

Don't get me wrong, I have (and will still have) good memories with the blue guy! This channel is just shifting focus to being a more variety gaming channel, which I believe is the best move in the long run because then I can just make what I enjoy (and those videos will be more enjoyable to watch). Of course, I'll take suggestions too! Just don't be afraid to recommend something that isn't Sonic haha.

Addicting Arcade-y Game - Eat Everything! // Death Worm (v1.04) // YoYoGames Most Played

An addicting game where you play as a giant worm from hell. The goal is simple: eat anything and everything! And I mean everything literally, as the game throws all enemies imaginable at you. Soldiers, Helicopters, Tanks, even Aliens!

There's a high bar of difficulty in this game and it'll take a lot of practice to see every enemy in the game. See if you can get a higher score than I did. I had a lot of fun with this one, will play it again :P

Playing a fake Mario Kart 64: what could go wrong? 😅 // YoYoGames Most Played

Wow, a fan port of Mario Kart 64 for the PC that is fun and totally not bad :D

...just kidding, it's bad. Yes, for some reason I decided to play a low-quality Mario Kart fan game from over a decade ago that "borrowed" the name from Nintendo! (I'm sure the kind folks over at their law offices will understand.) Is it actually fun though?

Well, for anyone who's played a Mario Kart game in their life, probably not. There is no drift mechanic from what I can tell, and the steering does not feel like a car. It's very sharp and it's easy to get stuck on walls, which isn't good during a race. So yeah, it's a buggy mess. But at least there are some unique power-ups.

Surprisingly, I somehow had a good time with this weird game. That doesn't mean its quality, I'm just a weird channel. And maybe I'll complete the rest of the cups just for laughs!

Grand Theft... Bowling? 🎳🔫 // Crimelife 2 // YoYoGames Most Played

I've decided to start playing the most downloaded YoYoGames for fun (and if you aren't aware, they were simple freeware games created in the mid-2000's with Game Maker). The Crimelife games were hits there around that time!

These days Crimelife 2 hasn't aged well, with stiff controls and lacking features, but I guess it's an alright GTA clone for the time; at least it's good to have a laugh at for a half hour or so... might make another part or not, idk lol. Expect more "good" stuff from the YoYoGames showcase.
