Irish Railway Models IRM1021-BX-B | Tara Mines | Bogie Ore Wagon Set B | OO Gauge | Review HD

This is the review of the first ever model I have owned from Irish Railway Models and this is the Tara Mines Bogie Ore Wagon Set B which includes a pack of two wagons that are in OO gauge. The models are fantastic for detail and I plan to get more of these to make a full train in the future. They run well although the axles on the front wagon squeaked a bit when running but I fixed this with a wee drop of oil on the axle bearing. These models are very impressive and they will go well with the Murphy Models GM 071 class diesel locomotive in my opinion.

The models have NEM couplers and there is alternative coupling bars included to semi-permanently couple the two iron ore wagons together. I believe these are the Irish variant of the JTA iron ore wagons that are used in the UK but without covers. My views on this company and the quality is definitely positive and I will be getting the cement wagons soon to make a review of those because they looked great when I saw them at the Belfast Model Railway Exhibition back in August.

Overall Rating: 10/10.
