How Did We Get to the World in Which We Live Today?

I hesitated over posting this as the opinions it discusses are likely to offend - and that is not my purpose.
But this video discusses topics I've found myself coming to an opinion about myself over a number of years but most more recently.
I neither agree or disagree with what's discussed here - this is for thinking people to decide for themselves.
The source had an astonishing number of positive comments with only a smuttering of negative, mostly from people I'd describe as trolls.
