How I clean and generally maintain a Sonoma Pellet Stove model P23FS. How I break it down, tools for cleaning, and suggestions for lighting from a dead cold stove. Please use proper eye protection (googles or safety glasses or both). This can be a messy job so I suggest rubber gloves. Please note, this video is merely how I clean my stove, all stoves are different, and in no way is this video intended to supersede any manufacturer's advice or procedures.
Feel free to ask questions. I have been maintaining and cleaning this stove like this for about 3 years now. I perform this cleaning at least once a week. I perform a basic cleaning of the fire pot every day, with an accompanying vacuum of the area.
