Can the 'lost tribes' of Israel be identified? What are two key chapters in the Bible that assist? The twelve sons of Jacob form the basis for the twelve tribes of Israel. Listed in the order from oldest to youngest: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin--what nations are they in today? Are there any possible connections with Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Finland, France, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, the United Kingdom, and/or the United States? While this sermon focuses on 11 tribes, it does mention all twelve. Does scripture show that antisemitism will end? What about the 144,000 of Revelation 7. Why is the Tribe of Dan not listed among the 144,000? Could Dan end up being a supporter of the coming Beast longer than the descendants of the other tribes? What about the mixed multitude? What about the "great multitude" that comes out of the Great Tribulation? Since the tribes of Israel all received promises of blessings, why are they subject to receiving the curses in Deuteronomy 28 and elsewhere? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more in the 3rd part of a multi-part sermon series related to the tribes of Israel as well as peoples around the world.
