From Xu Xiaodong To Art of War FC 1 - Andy Pi's Story

Andy Pi is often regarded as the father of Jiu Jitsu in China. Andy brought Jiu Jitsu to China in 1997. He was a blue belt at the time. In 2003, Andy took part in the first televised MMA match in China in 2003 against Xu Xiaodong. This was the infamous Sanda vs BJJ fight that had Andy winning by armbar over Xu Xiaodong and Xu Xiaodong embracing more MMA in his own training afterwards. Let's hear from Andy Pi about the behind-the-scenes that gave him the inspiration to start a professional MMA promotion in China.
