Ireland's Bogus Beggars [TV3 documentary on Roma Gypsies | 2011 | FULL Documentary]

This is the full 2011 documentary on Roma Gypsies which aired on TV3 called Ireland's Bogus Beggars.
I doubt it would even be allowed to be made today.
The documentary started out well interviewing numerous high-profile people who all agreed the Roma are a problem and that they engage in organised begging as a racket.
It then interviewed some people who wanted to solve the problem through deportation.
They cast them as "far-right extremists" but at least they let them speak.
In 2020, they wouldn't get air time.
The documentary even set up CCTV cameras and captured footage of ring leaders collecting the day's take.
Towards the end, however, the documentary switched gears.
Paul Connolly along with someone from a Roma Integration NGO door-stopped some apartments where Roma live.
This NGO worker had earlier denied Roma beg at all and only did so historically as they didn't have access to education.
They asked the Roma who answered their door whether Roma engaged in organised begging.
They all denied it did and said they were just begging as individuals because they were poor.
Case closed.
Nobody suggested that perhaps the NGO guy whose job is to play down the problems Roma cause might have tipped them off.
Connolly finished off his "exposé" by bemoaning the discrimination he said have Roma have to suffer.
