Pesto Tuna Melts (hot tuna and cheese sandwiches)

Whipping up a pesto tuna melt makes for a quick and easy lunch. A crusty baguette topped with pesto butter, pesto tuna salad, and melty mozzarella cheese.

Recipe:
1 can tuna
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp dried basil
3/4 tsp dried parsley
2 tsp pesto (divided)
salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
2 slices bread ie. baguette, sourdough, etc.
