We can have a Top-Down system in which the people serve the government or we can have a Bottom-Up system in which the government serves the people. Presently, we have a totalitarian dictatorship and they don't want to give up any power. So how do we get from Top-Down to Bottom-Up? How do we decentralize the power and take it away from the rulers? State secession works for me. States rights would include leaving the federal union, but the dictators will throw the Constitution at us and claim that we are not allowed to leave. A free country where states are imprisoned forever? I doubt it. We are free to leave and since when is the US Constitution back in effect? Was I gone that day? When did it come back? Funny how they pull it out of the trash and wipe off the coffee grounds when they want to use it to force us to stay.
