To change the date of a post on your facebook , Go to the post on your Page's timeline., Click in the top right of the post., Select Change Date

before this it WAS called a dateline for where and when the news originated but not where and when the story occurred ,

now date stamping is an easy way to FAKE newness & relevancy so many sites just lie or use relative "dates" , like last year or this morning & then change it over time & MANY news web sites FLATLY refuse to use a full date & time stamp out of stubbornness & tradition & then Google timestamps MANY ongoing breaking news article as being posted 2 days prior.
