The Democrats embraced Millennials while kicking Baby Boomers to the curb and now they are desperate to get the Boomers to vote for them as we get closer to November. This has lead to the Legacy Media and Left trying to push a false narrative that cutting, temporarily suspending, or getting rid of payroll taxes altogether, is the Republicans trying to gut or slash Social Security as a program. Which according to them means you must vote Democrat and in doing so must also agree to higher taxes in order to save it. There is a slight problem with all of this though. Payroll taxes do not fund Social Security at all. Everyone has their obligations to it deducted from our paychecks separately through FICA.

In this video we take a look at Market Watch’s attempt to scare the Boomers into voting Democrat using this approach.
