"Patriot Fire" blogger, Roger Ogden, (that's me) was mobbed by Black Lives Matter / Antifa at this event in La Mesa, Ca. on August 11, 2020. I pulled out a small tube of pepper spray to try to keep them from swarming me in a very threatening way. The one with the shaved head (Stephen Glenn McLeod) threatened that they would "beat my ass" if I used the pepper spray. Realizing that there were too many to spray, about 15 mobbing me and dozens of others nearby, I put it back in my pocket. The La Mesa Police arrested me.

A few weeks earlier, BLM/Antifa had burned down, vandalized and looted La Mesa. I had posted video of the organizer of this event, Tasha Williamson, threatening two years earlier to burn down another nearby town, National City, that would not comply with her demands to fire their Police Chief. I knew they weren't fond of me, but I figured since this was right next to the police station, the police would protect me from being attacked. Instead they arrested me for my weak attempt at self-defense from the mob. I think they were just concerned that the town would be attacked again by a larger mob.

I am uploading this video so much later just for my own historical reasons. Since this event, Stephen McLeod has been sentenced to 6 months in federal prison and 2 years probation for aiming a laser pointer at a police helicopter.
