(Dec. 17, 2020) Health care workers at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN received the Pfizer COVID vaccine. A nurse passed out about 10 minutes after receiving the shot. The local media reported that the nurse regained consciousness and appeared to be ok. This is an experimental vaccine that has not received official approval from government regulators. The Pfizer vaccine has only received EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) and the trials are still ongoing. Therefore, this is an experimental vaccine and the public appear to be the guinea pigs.
