What follows is part of a radio address given by Father Charles E. Coughlin in 1939 which addressed the growing concerns over internationalist war-mongering in the media and government. In the same year, Father Coughlin was removed from broadcasting and shut out of the print media. At the height of his career Father Coughlin had 40 million listeners across America.
