FACTS: 1) 2.7 million transfers to psychiatric or other hospitals occur after ERs annually (1.9% total). 53.6 MILLION people are on psych drugs or 1/6 Americans - making his claims about 500,000 to 25,000 people absolutely false. They may not be in them indefinitely, but millions upon millions more are forced into psych holds temporarily.
2) The Gun Control Act of 1968 bans anyone who has been involuntarily held in a psych ward from purchasing a gun for LIFE federally.
3) $TRILLIONS is spent on "mental health" JUST in first world countries. The amount of BILLIONS spent JUST in general hospitals on "mental health" doubled between 2003 and 2014 to 38 Billion. - There is no 'lack' of funding here, and that's another lie they put out to increasingly grow since Nelly Bly's "10 days in a Madhouse" (1800s).
