I Thought We WERE All Getting Along???

First off, a warning: If medical procedures bother you, tune out now. This video isn't for you.

As a child of the late 1950s and early 1960s I got to see the entire Civil Rights era first hand. We lived it.

Martin Luther King brought everyone an important message. It was the content of your CHARACTER that counted.

By the 1970s we were all getting along... Most of us anyway. There were still fringe groups who liked things the way they were.

At that time, I lived in New York State. As far as liberalism, that's second or third to California or Seattle.

It was only when another fringe group brought CHILDREN into the mix that problems started. I'm talking really YOUNG CHILDREN.

Leave the kids alone. Let them grow up. They'll know what they are soon enough. Then they can do whatever they want. They don't need others influencing them during their formative years.
