I am currently a member of PCNA the Preventative Cardiovascular Nursing Association, which has booklets on medical conditions you may find helpful. I am not sure I am going to continue my association with them next year as their focus is too much on the new drugs coming out and not enough on what patients and providers can do to improve health. Pharmaceutical companies are out to make customers, not cures. Unfortunately, Big Pharma is the sponsor of their educational seminars now. This saddens me, because the content used to be more patient and provider focused and not so much on pushing the latest drug.
