Péter Szijjártó, representing the President of Hungary at the fourth Summit of the Three Seas Initiative (Intermarium) has delivered a bold statement, emphasizing 3SI's fiscal discipline and focus on security (including energy security) as opposed to lack of "common sense" and the prevalence of "political correctness and double standards" of "our Western European friends".

He also went further and warned that if the infrastructure projects of the 3SI are not finished in time, Hungary will have to, once again, enter in a long-term partnership with Russia in order to secure its energy needs.
