The FBI exposed covering for a serial pedophile

There wasn't even much money or political gain to be attained from covering up for Larry Nasser.

The scumbag FBI agents who led the cover up did it because their special agent in charge was promised a no show job at USA Gymnastics in exchange for making the problem go away.

Forget politics. If you are a victim of even a small time actor of any rank (even as low as the gym coach of a little girl's olympic team), you should assume the FBI is on their side and will work to shut you up or railroad you to protect them.

There are still a (dwindling) number of local cops who you can trust to do the right thing. THERE IS NO FBI AGENT you can trust to do the same, even in a low stakes, straight forward case like the Nasser one.

They are political police with hidden agendas. They are the worst and sickest sociopaths among us, and the ones that aren't driven by defending status quo political ideology are only interested in their personal advancement and enrichment.
