Trump insisted that he’s “not giving cover” to the Saudis, as he discussed Mike Pompeo‘s trip to Turey and Saudi to address the journalists disappearance weeks ago. When the spray opened up for questions, Trump was asked “Why not send the FBI?” to determine what happened to Kh... after he went inside the Saudi consulate
“Well, he’s not an American citizen, and you don’t know if we have [sent the FBI] or haven’t,” Trump said. “Why would I tell you?”
Trump was also asked if he has requested audio and video
“We have asked for if it exist,” Trump said. He added, “I’m not sure yet that it exists, probably does, possibly does.”
