'I spoke to a guard returning home on the train last night- he said he has to reapply for his job & his salary will be cut from £28k to £25k / annum.
His manager recently received a £1million bonus!
The management refused to attend a pre- arranged meeting with concerned workers at the last minute.
The guard said he gas never taken industrial action in his long career, but now has no choice. I fully support him & his colleagues 💪 -

He also told me that ticket offices will be closed and paper tickets ended.

Several other passengers were shocked & asked what about people who don't have smart phones, etc? So paying for a physical ticket with cash no longer allowed = end of personal privacy as we know is planned 🤬 '
