The title of the popular hymn, “Rock of Ages” is derived from Isaiah 26:4. Within this verse is a promise of God: no matter what the storm, the LORD is everlasting and cannot be moved. In the New Testament Jesus says, in Matthew 7; whoever hears His sayings is like a wise man who builds his house on the rock. Whatever your situation, find the promises of God that you need to stand on and stay there.

1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
