ATTACHING A CATTLE PANEL TO A RAILROAD TIE

Many options exist when it comes to fencing. On our homestead, some of our fences call for attaching cattle panels to railroad ties, and in this video I share two methods that we came up with.

The first is to cut the end off of the cattle panel and then drill holes into the railroad tie for the ends to slide into. It creates a nice junction and should work well for years to some. The other method I show it placing the cattle panel behind the railroad tie and placing a board against it to screw them together, sandwiching the cattle panel between the boards.
