Today we discuss the Omicron panic and control that the world woke up to after Thanksgiving week. The hype caused travel bans on African countries, boosters went from available to required, the stock market fell, lockdown restrictions, and borders tightened. The paranoia over the variant caused another wave of announcing compulsory jabs and scapegoating of the unvaccinated. Africa is now the target, even though it has low-levels of spread and lowest mortality rates globally. Join us as we attempt to swim against the current of this fear mongering narrative fiasco and share our take on what we think is really going on.
