Sky News host Rowan Dean says the coronavirus authoritarianism has become “evil” after a young family in the US was forced off a plane because their crying two-year-old daughter would not wear a face mask.

Footage uploaded by the mother showed flight staff ordering the family to get their young daughter to put on the mask.

After several failed attempts to get their daughter - now in tears - to wear the mask, the family was escorted off the flight.

“It’s evil; look at the authoritarianism of that individual,” Mr Dean said.

“The worst thing that’s come out of the last 12 months is these petty bureaucrats. This is what we saw in communist East Germany.”
