Communication Device - Jeff Gellman Seminars (2020)

E-collars are great communication devices for both dog and owner, either up come or far away with no distraction or high level distraction, you are actually teaching your dog a new language and there is an art to it. You actually have to understand how the collar works and dog training theory, both reword and punishment is used in dog training.
It is one of the most wonderful tools to use for fearful, anxious and nervous dogs as well and it helps break though the clutter going on in the mind to get the dog much better focused on the task at hand.
We have had some of the most amazing breakthroughs with dogs that �“could not be trained” or are stubborn & selective listeners.
The concept that you are just pushing buttons on the collar when your dog does not listen to you. We talk about the proper use of the remote collar daily in our social media, at our training center and all of our seminars.
In this one particular clip this owner was being dragged around by her lunging Rottweiler and in a matter of minutes we stopped the lunging and we where training that if the dog is uncomfortable in a situation to stop lunging at humans and dogs to move them away and the dog could actually just take a step back to move the pressure away. A much better choice for all.
